I am guessing you're being tongue-in-cheek here but none of this would balance out all the bad stuff happening to Russia as a result of all of this.

Not enough people understand how much this whole situation has to do with the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. That's 90% of this "Russiagate" fiasco. Its all about strangling Russia's economy by strangling all its allies.

as i said, i know little on the topic of russian politics... but eli5; why would it matter if bad stuff happens to them? most countries' governments don't typically care what happens to the country, right?

As i recall, “bonesaw” bin salmon bragged that he had Jared in his pocket. It is also clear that Erdogan also “controls” trump. Trump is easy to manipulate, so i think others probably make similar claims.
Putin doesn’t have to brag. He is too smart for that. He delivered the 2016 election in a giftwrapped box with a pretty bow on top. He has been supplying trump with working capital for years. Debt binds you to those that hold the debt. The only escape from the bondage is to pay off the debt. So yeah, Putin “owns” trump and his entire family.

Speaking of which, i read a story this am that there was a peaceful protest yesterday (in Portland) and then a bunch of boogaloo bois showed up. Thirty minutes later there was full fledged fighting and rioting.
So yeah, i agree that some groups are probably getting paid.

I trust the Senate Intelligence Committee about as much as I trust a rabid badger to hang out in my bedroom. Did you actually watch Mueller testify? It was an epic shitshow. What I posted above was not "whataboutism" by the way; it was a critique of the trustworthiness of a source. Big difference. The US intelligence community has zero credibility. Less than zero. They have killed millions of people over lies again and again and you STILL accept them as honest. Its incredible.
