i can't believe i am saying this, but...chump allegedly is thinking about derailing the huge gold mine in the headwaters of Alaskas Bristol Bay, one of the most productive fisheries & environmentally sensitive places on the planet. probably "fake news" however, since i read about it on MSNBC early this morning. if true, he is finally thinking about doing something i would agree with. i can't believe what i just said...i still wouldn't vote for him, but...

I believe this comes from his son Donny's personal connection to the area and people who have been able to get his ear, with reasons why the mining will negatively impact the fish population.

Otherwise, the environmental ignorance displayed by Trump in my opinion is appalling. Many, previously protected wilderness areas have been opened to harvesting of natural resources. Forest foundations will be destroyed. Waterways and tributaries will ultimately suffer [even Boogie's creek]

Not only this, but programs to use poisons to 'control' certain species viewed as harmful to ranching and trophy hunting activities have been perpetuated.

As others have maintained, this is done all in the name of the almighty dollar, supposedly the goal of the American dream, what makes America 'great'.

Speaking of which, i read a story this am that there was a peaceful protest yesterday (in Portland) and then a bunch of boogaloo bois showed up. Thirty minutes later there was full fledged fighting and rioting.
So yeah, i agree that some groups are probably getting paid.

Oh no doubt that the DNC leak and the rest of supposed Russian operations are not necessarily all in the same boat. Russia isn't a bunch of innocents being victimized constantly by the West for no reason at all. Russia definitely does bad things too, but that definitely does not inspire me to trust the word of agents from alphabet agencies that crave war for their arms-selling masters.

What actual benefit has Russia gained from this supposed control over the president? I want to know EXACTLY what Russia has gained from all this. What has Trump done that is so great for Russia?

I am guessing you're being tongue-in-cheek here but none of this would balance out all the bad stuff happening to Russia as a result of all of this.

Not enough people understand how much this whole situation has to do with the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. That's 90% of this "Russiagate" fiasco. Its all about strangling Russia's economy by strangling all its allies.

If the Muller report and the Bipartisan Senate intelligence report doesn't prove it to you nothing will. The Senate report says trump lied to Muller about wikileaks. IMO there was plenty of Collusion prof including the Senate intelligence committee. You would need to go look it up and read.

I trust the Senate Intelligence Committee about as much as I trust a rabid badger to hang out in my bedroom. Did you actually watch Mueller testify? It was an epic shitshow. The guy could hardly handle the simplest questions. For all the hype about what a great investigator he was; its quite clear that he's a bumbling idiot and they chose him for exactly that reason. Lets not forget that this man is literally one of the men who lied us into the war with Iraq because of supposed WMD. Literally the same fucking guy.

What I posted above was not "whataboutism" by the way; it was a critique of the trustworthiness of a source. Big difference. The US intelligence community has zero credibility. Less than zero.
