I am a diabetic. I am predisposed. I can get covid, but there is a far greater chance that my prior disposition will play a factor. e.g I can contract the virus and die from my previous disposition. Does that mean a kidney or liver failure was a natural cause? My predisposition led to an "accelerated" failure of my liver and kidneys, caused by the virus. So what came first... the chicken or the egg.
Charlotte, from "Charlotte's web" didn't die from covid perse, her "tender" predisposition caused covid to finish the job. Of course these are extremely coarse observation. So what should be on her death certificate?
On my death certificate, I may die of liver or kidney failure die to the contraction of covid 19, which was in all intense and purpose an acceleration of my demise. Nonetheless, I would expect my DC to read, the actual cause of death "kidney/liver" failure, accelerated by covid 19.
So what came 1st the chicken or the egg?
Because autopsies aren't done/conducted on covid caused death, of course, covid caused their demise. But what caused their demise, a predisposition or the virus itself. We will never know.
