Since i am a little less high now, i went to the cdc website, since they are kind of involved with covid mortality counts. trump is in charge of the cdc, so if you don’t like the reporting, blame him.
The cdc website delegated how covid cases and deaths are reported to the CSTE.
The CSTE is the body that has set the standard and policy for reporting on covid19 cases and deaths. Per the CSTE, institutions are responsible for self reporting verifiable positive cases and deaths, and the reported cause of death is determined by death certificate, autopsy reports, etc.
“Vital Records Criteria for Reporting
A person whose death certificate lists COVID-19 disease or SARS-CoV-2 as a
cause of death or a significant condition contributing to death
Other Criteria for Reporting
Autopsy findings consistent with pneumonia or acute respiratory distress syndrome without an identifiable cause.”
So, if a pathologist or a coroner wanted to report a decapitation as a death due to covid 19, they could. But they would probably lose their job.
