... at least here folks are reasonable. Nova Scotia has a serious community spread issue happening, not travel related. Well, it had to come from somewhere, we think it came from Ont. A few weeks ago there was a group of younguns from Ont, were drinking at a bar in the Hubbards area, who lied at the border, not quarantining, bragging about it but, bitching how bad the snow was in Que, not social distancing and mask-less. The patrons that overheard them informed the staff and they were thrown out. They should not have thrown them out. They should have called the cops, as God only knows where they went from there

From the Premier, they traced it back to several bars in HRM (Halifax Regional Municipality) and surrounding areas and, asked anyone that were there between x and y date to self isolate and go get tested.

The problem is that folks do not quarantine themselves. My neighbours have 3 young children and his parents have visited from Ont 3 times this year. The 1st time they self isolated but not the following two. Rule here... any outsider from the province must self isolate, they added a new rule... the entire household must self isolate for 14 days. That should add an incentive. Furthermore, he has one large bubble and all are mask-less, sitting on the deck drinking beer etc...

I have been tracking this rather closely, and sure enough we see a jump (2 weeks after) a long WE. It's back in the old folks homes, as well.

Read if only the USA would wear masks for 14-21 days we could severely cut CO-19 cases into low 100's.

Thirteen days ago, our state had over 3,600+ positives and deaths were in the high 40's. Governor had RESET 2 weeks STAY@HOME. Many didn't abide by that, but masks are mandatory. Numbers went down to 1,694 yesterday. Still, it's extremely high considering the state was at 700+ just 3 weeks ago. Largely due to family gatherings, parties, etc. Imagine numbers will escalate upward following Thanksgiving holiday.

has anyone ever noticed that there is never an outbreak related to a testing facility? seems strange since all the sick people congregate there among healthy people. i'm sure it's not even possible, absolutely sure since there is no proof.....right?



i tried to find some pictures of these testing places, but it seems online all they have pictures of the drive-in ones. funny, because most of the ones around here are inside of old theaters, schools, and military bases. hmmm...

I do have a coherent thought in regards to vaccines or any other medical procedure...
A person should be able to opt out of whatever procedure if they so choose.

being a man means ignoring your discomfort and inconvenience meters and doing the right thing to help protect others.

being a man means not whining like a 5 year old when safeway tells you to either put on your mask or shove off.
