How old are those San Pedros? They going outside at some point?

Here are my veg seedlings. I was a little late starting them, hoping they will be ready to plant by the end of the month.

Ok update time IC!

The ones on the left are Italian Sunflower seeds I ordered
(totally different structure and colors but they haven't bloom yet but soon)

this is the red italian getting ready to flower should be cool

the one sunny on the far left has the best head but still smaller than last time! See the stretchy thin stalks compared to the bungee sticks I use to prop them up! there actually the old stalks from last year haha

Jalapenos on the third year and still pumping them out.. little to no vitality loss yet... Some are almost grocery store size meh ;o

Im really missing the help in the size and yeild deparment this time around...

Only had what was left in one bottle of my green FloraNova grow
for vegging but now not enough potash, phosphorus, K etc. for huge blooming heads!

Last year I had a few top out at 10-11 feet tall this time only 5-6 feet :(
I had both Flornova Grow and the Bloom plus a additive called Swell the hydro store sampled me
and thats the difference obviously so yeah lesson learned I suppose
Almost a side by side experiment, well not really but you know what I mean cya around IC
I need some MAXI!

We're have a Dodder weed infestation going on here. It's attacking my carrots and spuds. Just pulled 1/3 of the spuds and only ended up with a half of a 5gl bucket of spuds.

Frying some up for dinner.

I've always wanted to try canning but I'm paranoid about botulism, so I freeze all of my excess veggies.

it's really not hard, all you need is a pressure cooker. We have 3. The beans were cooked for 1.5 hrs @ 10 lbs with the temp at 255. This kills every thing. You have a bigger chance of contamination by freezing it.

And once you have a pressure cooker, nothing but spores are stopping you from melting your legs off and floating on music.

Man I loved my sunflowers last year, had both yellow and red ones, seemed to feed the bees well, I feel sorry I didn't save the seeds for planting/eating...

A K my boy planted several packages of mixed sunflowers seed last year. They didn't do to well and were over crowded birds ate most of them.
This year they came up on their own EVERYWHERE. Huge plants with the most vibrant colors I've ever seen. After some searching on the types. I found I have some of the most sought after colors.

cherry rose

velvet queen

shock o let (chocolate)

a few types standard yellows too.

I've found that people will pay up to $5.00 a flower at the farmers market for them here.:woohoo:

We're getting a booth to sell them and veggies also. I bet I can make more from the flowers and their seed. Than I will make from my organic veggies.

more weeds :tiphat:
