all my clones finally rooted.

pictures pretty much speak for themselves. if you forgot, my grow tent is 2x3 by 5 feet tall. and those are 5.5 inch pots im using.

the soil i mixed up is a 50 50 combination of fox farm ocean forrest and Botanicare ReadyGro areation formula (4-6 waterings a day kind). i like the way this soil feels alot and I think its gonna grow me some dank plants. i never heard of anyone combining those soils together but from my past growing experiance with ReadyGro im sure it will be even better now.

the hps pictures are of day 5 the rest are of day 7 before the lights turned on. the plants are growing pretty fast if you compare the pics. still not as fast as hydro but faster than pure soil so far. im running 18-6 light schedule. i still havnt had to water them since i first planted them out of the ez cloner on day 1. when i do water them, i dont know if im going to fertillize them with anything because i heard fox farm ocean forrest has enough nutreints for the first 3 weeks. correct me if im wrong. i wanted to try and hit them with a super early blast of BudSwell 0-7-0 dry bat guano to induce flowering. it says its guerranteed not to burn your plants so i think i may try it... im thinking about flipping the lights on day 8 so i want to give them some kind of flower inducer without harming them before they start on 12-12.

the grapefruits are the middle 2 rows, the 1 blueberry kush has a stick in it. and the rest are og kush.

12-12 has begun! im so exited! i probably should have flipped them a day earlyer but o well whatcha gonna do

all the plants i checked had fat white roots growing around the drainage holes of the pot so there rooting up good. the only one that seems to be struggling is the 1 in the second row to the left.

i watered them with a super low strength BudSwell 0-7-0 dry bat guano. i only used 10ml per gallon, it reccomends using 30-45ml per gallon so i think ill be allright. hopefully that will get the buds off to a good start.

time for another update...

after i watered them with bat guano they really took off and i see burn on only 1 plant i think.

that runt plant was pissing me off, it wasnt growing at all! so i switched it out with a clone i had in my veg cabniet. the little runt plant had no roots on the bottom of the pot when i flipped it over and bearly even had a tap root growing . but the plant i replaced it with is sweet, it definatly fills that hole and makes for a more even canopy.

this morning i foiler sprayed them with Liquid Karma @ 1ml per 24 oz sprayer bottle just for the heck of it.

first pic is before the lights turned on and when the runt(left side) was still in there.


the rest are after i replaced the runt and foiler sprayed.

i too am very curious so see how these plants yield due to their short veg time. i got 4 clones and have let them veg for over a month and am now just going to start flower. i have read that 2 weeks veg is all most clones will need to get good yields and size.
core- i think the reasonhe didnt veg them longer is because he has sooooo many clones in his cab, and his pots are alot smaller. with all those in there its already going to be a jungle, if he vegged them for a while he runs the risk of them overgrowing his cab and becoming really rootbound in their pots.

i think that this is gonna be a very nice run for senseless..

Update Time! sit back and grab some and lite a or 5.

Core- they have bat guano thats for veg and flower. it all depends on the guanos NPK value . fruit bats are responsible for flowering guanos higher in P phosphorus and k potassium. and bats that eat insects are responsible for vegitative guanos higher in N nitrogen and K potassium.
the reason i used it so early in bloom is because ive seen some growers give thier plants a bloom fert. early too so i thought id just give it a try and see if it helps. i think if anything, since the plants using guano the whole flowering cycle im sure to have some tasty buds!

Darrinjefferson- your right, i diddnt want to veg to long because i diddnt want to overfill my growspace, and get rootbound in the pots.

the og kush streches three times its hight from my past experiences with it so thats another reason for the short veg. im not to sure on the stretch of the grapefruit or blueberry kush but i figure if they get uneven ill move the shorter plants to the middle and form a halpipe of buds.

Now for the plants -

i watered them with water and hydroguard @ 10ml /gal. adjusted ph to 6.5 no nutrients. there growing fast! everytime i look in there it looks like the grew. i cant wait to see buds. mmmm....

o yea my package from seedbay came, super fast, and verry discreet. thumbs up to seedbay.. i got mr. nice SSH and Rhino as a freebie. i also won 2 packs of seeds in the contest forum awhile back so im building up a stockpile lol. the packs i won were Rez seeds WonderHaze and Kill Bill.
i took my ez clone out of my veg cabniet so i can start the SSH seeds first so ill have them in time for my next grow. i just need to find/buy pots.

wow senseless they are getting big!!! i am so excited. this is kinda the way i would like to take my cab in the future. get a variety of mothers and then do a SOG grow. that way you can get a wide variety of bud...i love a selection..hehehe..
my cab also just started flower.....things are already gettin huge.
