the cure deffinately makes all the difference. at around 7 weeks it will be really good.

i built my new grow cabniet/tent so im using my old cabniet as a veg room.

my new grow cabniet i built with 1" pvc pipe, and panda plastic and a piece of wood on top to help me hang the fan, lights, smoke alarm (every grower needs one!) and mabe my carbon filter. and it is 2x3 feet wide and about 5 or 6 feet tall. i have a 265cfm eco plus blower fan hooked up to a sun systems air cooled hood.

im still using 400w HPS.

im going to be growing 8 plants this round in 2 gallon grow bags. kush, grapefruit(c99), hog and ak47. i got the ak47, hog and grapefruit from a buddy but they got mislabled during the clone stage so i could have 1 plant of each strain or 2 ak47s, 1 hog, no grapefuit or in a bunch of different orders if ya know what i mean.....

im also re using my soil from the last grow. remember i had those hydroton rocks on top of my soil before? well i was lazy to take them off the top so i just mixed them into the soil because i thought it would areate it and give the plants some support.

for nutreints im going to use Botanicare and Budswell 0-7-0 bat guano because i already have it and i think it works good and makes your bud not taste chemically. i currently have Pure Blend Pro grow/bloom, CalMag Plus, Liquid Karma, and i just bought HYDROGUARD to try this round.

i used one of those tarp zippers as a door to my cabniet, i bent it all out of shape so it would open like a tent door, i could have got 2 zippers and ran them up each side with velcrow on the bottom but i took the cheap and easy way out. its not light proof so i have to hang something on the front of my cab to block light leaks.

there was some heat/height problems but if i did it again i could do it way better know that i know whats possible. but i wanted to step it up to a taller cabniet because i dont like bending down because i have a bad back, and i like big buds!! and i wanted a bigger veg cabniet to hold varous strains for my/patients needs.

i think ill probably get around the same yield this grow because this new tent/cabniet is only 33 inches wide compared to 46 inches wide. but it is 5 feet tall compared to 33 inches, damn thats short know that i think of it.

i diddnt want to build a wood cabniet because i had to built it to a custom place in my house and that would be a pain in the ass. i mean dont get me wrong if i had the tools and time and are to do it i would but this new cabniet took me only like 4-6 hours in 1 day to set up the whole thing with lights and ventillation, transplanting plants, and making it light proof. and it was cheap...or well priced as i like to call it.

Sweet job on your new flower area senseless You're gonna have lot's of happy smoke over the years from that project!

I used one dose of budswell on my current flowering plants at 2 weeks flower - the buds have been growing and frosting like crazy. Here's an example - trainwreck day 38


I'm sold on the stuff - looks like one to two feedings are all that's needed to pump the buds up.

Senseless i gotta say, GREAT JOB BUD! That is a really great harvest for a strain like OG Kush that is supposed to be a very low yeilder. I have been doing ALOT of reading about the kush strains (mostly out of the cannabibles, Thank god for Jason King) i want to try and get some going in my garden once i get it going again. Wow those nugzzz just look so tasty.... mmmmmmmmm i can taste the Kush from here!

Great Job, consider me "on board" for any of your new grows!

Senseless...first of all, great thread. I hate to be pushy, but you have a ph problem. I think you should try lowering it to 6.5 to see how things go and eventually I would guess 6.2-6.3 would be ideal. Think it over.

I had the same issues with yellowing or pale green leaves and it always went back to the ph range being above 6.4 which locked out my nutes....

thanks for the tip kedei22000, but i got everything under control now.

what went wrong was i diddnt add any dolomite lime to my soil before i re-used it so i had a horribly low ph 5.0 runoff water from 7.3 water. ouch. the plants were already planted but not rooted that much so i had to take out 2 gallons of soil out of each pot and mix dolomite lime into it. yea it sucked. ADD DOLOMITE LIME dont be an idiot! i used 1-2 tablespoons per gallon of soil. and after i did that i flushed each plant with 5 gallons of water. another pain in the ass! that took forever. after i flushed it the runoff water came out at 6.6-7.0 wich is way way better. now the plants are getting better.

i have some older pics when the plants looked like crap so ill post those and then the new ones when they're better so you can see the difference.

besides the ph problem in these pics they have Potassium, Magnesium, and Iron defficiancy. but more magnesium def. than iron. when i fertillized i used pure blend pro 3-1.5-4 and cal-mag plus (has iron too) to make em better.














now heres recently....the 3 bigger older plants( ak47,and or HOG, and or Grapefruit) have been fertilized since the flush thats why they're so much greener than the smaller kush plants wich havnt been fertillizer yet because they arent as old and dont drink a lot of water yet.










cant foreget the veg cabniet....aka my cabniet from previous grow.
i built an ez cloner that i like alot...18 gallon container, holds 4 gallons of water, 265gph eco plus pump. 18 ez clone spayers.





mother plants hade a small problem too but thier getting better. the plant on the top is healing a little faster than the other. they had a Potassium, magnesium and iron def. too because i transplanted re using some old soil

allright guys this is taking forever!!

this grow isnt turning out the way i wanted it too. the plants are at diffrent stages of growth and some more healthy than the others and if i wait for the smaller ones to get healthy the big ones will be huge when i need to bud them and they will end up overgrowing my space.

so im going to ditch the 8 plants and give them to my freind to put on his balcony. thell purk right up and im sure well get a decent amount of bud off them. he has a nice big secluded balcony. ill take some pictures of that and post them when i can. were going to do Low Stress Training with string (LST) to make them bushes.

i took clones off the grapefruit and ak or hog so i will still have them. right now i have 51 cuttigns rooting (damn thas alot!) 13 grapefruit, 8 ak/hog, and 30 og kush in my veg cabniet.



once they root im going to pick the healthyest 16 og kush plants and 8 grapefruit plants, 24 total. to grow in my tentcab. see below for what im planning...

this sums up my next grow...

2x3 space, 400w light, 24 plant Sea Of Green, 5 inch square pots, fresh soil: 50/50 fox farm ocean forest and Botanicare Ready Grow Areaton formula. Pure Blend Pro nutrients and added BudSwell 0-7-0 bat guano for flowering. im looking for minimal veg time with this grow since ive lost so much time. plus i ran out of medicine and i need it as fast as possible! street prices suck!!!!

im going to try and mix the fox farm ocean forrest and the ready grow areation formula to make Ocean Forest more airy and make ReadyGro more soily. get it? hopefully the end result will be a more organic tasting herb due to the Ocean Forest with the faster growth rates of ReadyGrow.

clones were cut on dec. 26 so things should be looking good soon.

og clones have started to root in the ez clone after 9 days from cut. things keep looking better and better. im going to the grow store today to pick up my new soil and a bunch of 5 inch pots. im going to move my big ladies to thier new home under the big halide in the sky today or tomarrow. ill be sure to snap some pics.

Be careful you don't get root bound in those 5 inch pots and if so be sure to prune the roots a little when transplanting.

Wow a ph of 7.3 for your water is low. I think PBP is formulated for tap water. Are you using RO water ? Probably should use tap unless it's very horrible just let it sit out for a day and the chlorine will escape.

jesusbuiltmygrow- i dont even plan to veg for a week before flowering so hopefully they wont get rootbound. also a ic member FuzyGrowth did the exact grow im plannig with 5.5 inch pots 24 plants per 2x3 area. what a coincidence. sp? and his came out fine.

im also using 5.5 inch pots not 5inch.

clones are lagging only 10 of them have roots but all of them have white bumps...i think a need an aquarium heater to bring my ez clone from low 70s to high 70s. ive been reading that more people get better results with temps in the high 70s. im gonna get one.

update

i moved the plants oudoors to my freinds balcony. we still need to mix perlite into the soil the plants are on top of. so we left them in the grow bags and just put them in the pots with soil around them so the wind doesnt blow them over.
there starting to look alot better and they really grew alot. the tallest one (grapefruit) was 24 inches+. when we transplant them we are going to tie the branches down to the pot so we get bushes. there going to bud i think then we'll reveg them for summer. thats when its going to get crazy! last season he had plants a foot taller than me and im 6 foot!
