libs can't seem to understand/admit that minor inconvenient fact. the occupation started in the 60's, and the ethnic cleansing in the 40's. hamas was founded in '87. same with hezbollah. founded after israeli occupation of lebanon.

They were screwed long before Hamas existed.

Yes they were. They basically had no chance. Their leadership has been corrupt for decades.

When you have leadership that exploits it's population then the population doesn't have a chance at success.

Had the early leadership not have been so corrupt there could have been a state of Palestine.

Unfortunately the corruption within the Palestinian Authority going back to the late 60's / early 70's set the stage for what we have now.

Yasar Arafat left the chance for a Palestinian state on the table as he walked away while living a life of luxury in Europe. It was an obtainable goal. Greed and self interest destroyed any chance and still does today.

Israel is a component of the situation but they don't share all the blame for how things are today.

If you go back a little further, there was a Palestinian state. Then something happened.
