old star crash , who goes by flower power now did a test grow of nh x c5 mango,
and id have to search for the other which was c5 mango x c5 mango and fat mango x c5 mango ..

some of the locals where i lived ran a bunch of them too , most reported back excellent results and showed me some very nice flowers ,
one lot of guys didnt like them though ,
i m at a loss to see how they could have ended up with such a different result to the others ,
but they are in a different location , climate , and they use very high nitrogen , chemical ferts , ie urea ,
i think that has been their problem really ,
as we know here , less is more with regard to nitrogen and sativa dominant varieties ,
i think that accounts for their results ,
massive growth rates they said , but not great flowers ...
ive seen a bunch of the flowers , they cure up fine , but they are lacking smell initially,
as said i think its the ferts they were using , not everyone that grows cannabis is schooled up on how to grow crops that well sadly ...

I can't speak for Laos Mango x c5 mango, but I can say that my Laos x MangoHaze is fantastic. I am enjoying it more and more with each week it's curing. Trouble free to grow, when others got mould nothing on the Laos x Mango. Got some cuts flowering now. I would love to do these outdoors. This stuff reminds me of pot I had in Laos a few years ago. Very nice. I also got some pure Laos which is great too, but waiting on a proper cure before I sing it's praises.

I also grew Wal's Nevs x c5 Mango, also outstanding. In fact I can't decide what I like better but am leaning slightly toward to Laos cross.

Both these are upbeat, euphoric strains, no paranoia (for me anyway) something I look for these days. Out of 2 plants, one of the Nevs/C5M is euphoric, the other introspective (but in a good way). The Laos x Mango I could vape all day without burning out, and have to be careful I don't.:gday:

Took a sniff on her yesterday, smells like jungle, took a squeeze on her, solid buds with a small amount of give.. which released a chemical smell like fly spray!

The local ppl that know I have this plant regularly ask how's the Laos.. came as a surprise to me how much interest she piques in peeps.. makes me happy, its a win for cannabis.

Pics speak for themselves, pretty impressive, no special treatment in literally a couple handfuls of coco..

VG how is Contra D related to c4ddf2?

Pitchfork Chem

Hi mate, that looks amazing. The Contra D is very closely related to the C4DD...
C4DD F2 is basically C4DD x C4DD (with C4DD being (Chem4 x Chem D ibl) x Chem D)
and Contra D is C4DDD : Chem D x C4DD
So Contra D is the C4DD backcrossed again to the Chem D clone whereas C4DD F2 is C4DD crossed to C4DD.

So there is likely to be overlap between the two.. but the extra bx with the Contra seemed to cause a lot more segregation of the stunted/streaky genes which may allow them to be selectively removed.

Was it the same pollen donor's or a different breeding?
