Beautiful Laos. Can I ask which cross it is?
(I'm seriously high on Laos x MH right now)

Verdant Greens stuff looks great too, but both look quite different. Hard to compare. I see a possible tied test coming up. Wally will be batting last but it will be well worth the wait.

Bummer it's over... what's the aromas like on contra d?
So even the laos got culled? Wouldn't have the heart to do it!

No the Laos is still going.. very hard to do man trust me..

Contra#8 is like rotten tooth last time I checked.. she was like petrol/turpentine previously..

Shame about the rest but that remaining Laos is already seriously impressive!
And the Contra D looks chunky af, great work, looks similar to the pheno i got which was also fuel/solvent but i was pretty sure mine had a good bit of pine too. Hard to imagine it getting any fatter but who knows after another week?

Cheers VG much appreciated my friend.

So they have been chopped and hanging for nearly 2 weeks and will be bucked down by Friday..

let's get the ugly one out the way first, not much aroma and tatty looking ~ I did swing the pH pretty bad due to horrific calcium build up on my pH probe which I eventually caught.. her and 'viney' lived up the back with no corrections or special treatment I just let em rip as they say..

Contra D#4

next up the familiar Contra D#8 typical plasticy chem..

And the best for last.. the one I kept around Contra D 'viney'.. VG this is the on that you saw in the new run..
I also have her in veg and in the clone box, she reeks and I qoute from my notes on chop day 'Horrible raunchy garlic'.. there's some deep lemon in there too I believe, I fondled her today on the hanger and she still reeks bad.. reminds me somewhat of the old C4DD#6 the uber medicinal needle n vial specimen.. However! Let's see what she gives me on these upcoming runs without the fuckery you see in the below pics,. But Chem is somewhat of a chem-meleon.. she does have a way of breaking your heart and/or causing confusions, (and palpitations let's just be real).. in my experiences anyway, but there's only one way to find out!
Another thing I like from the clones is seriously nice node spacing.. and looking like a nice vegger too.. hopefully things go well and if the potency is anything like old #6 shut the gate it's lights out for the meatball.

Contra D 'Viney': Beyond the Chem. Shes the kind of rotten terps needed in the world. Fingers crossed

Contra D 'viney' more streaked then an 80s hair rocker :rtfo:

While I'm at it some Laos x from the man Mr Wally Duck
Front and center surrounded by sour giesel, she remains tall and stoic while the others pass through..

The Laos is coming on and starting to show some signs of ripening... very handsome - lording it over the 'johnny come lately' types lol.

Interesting about the various Contra D Phenos, and great that there are still some 'filthy' chem smells in there too. The lemon is interesting possibly a chem 4 throwback. They all look to have some serious yield potential.... viney seems to have some streak in the leaves you are right.. but no stunting as far as i can see - maybe you just a better grower than me lol.
Very much looking forward to seeing viney on the second run..

* Laos mango x c5 mango (to be precise)!
Cheers VG.. I do tend to be one for my nicknames hehe

how many weeks is she gonna go dots ???

its looking awesome btw , lovely bud structure ..
Yo Wally, good to read you mate. Is that right above re the 'Laos Mango' half of the pedigree?

Thank you and I agree she is a real beauty queen and lovely aromatics.. I havent given much thought how long to let her go.. I recently switched the garden to 11/14 from 10/14.. I think the 10/14 is the reason I can get maturation sooner then most..
in my experience that extra hour can make a 10 week strain over-due/over-ripened after 8.. at the cost of some yield.

anyways I'm rambling.. I found my loupe so i could check the trics..?

Humble beginnings Laos #1 & #2 in flower boxing day 26th December..

hey dots ,
verdant s quote is 100% correct ,
i have a mate down the road from me who is hooked on the laos mango,
they just do what he wants and are resistant to many issues ,
tough old landrace strains i guess ,
the produce is sweet and very resinous , always appreciated by the locals here ...

i think she has at least a few weeks judging by the almost all white pistils ,
if your in no rush just let her do her thing until she fully matures ,
might take another month or so , but im sure it will be worth it in the long run ..

main thing is that you enjoy the journey and the final destination dots ...
