i been thinking about a new Wah lately, the Wilson Wah's look and sound really nice -but i'm still undecided and in no hurry ...also been casually looking for a new delay

i've been getting into some vintage 60's-70's "Ace" brand straps too.
AFOM stopped in one day a few months ago and we started talking about "those old hippie guitar straps" ...i can remember waaay back when -back in the day- before i started playing seeing people using these straps
...well anyway he had a couple of them and gave me one, the other two i got off the bay

love these straps

and my post just wouldnt be complete without a guitar and some nugs ....so here ya go

Well, maybe not... depends on how you use your overdrive. But i see the boost setting all the way up so im thinking good things hahahahaha

But I remember Mike Fuller talking about it then reading about it, then trying it and it was like a cleaner more purer tone singing thru.... nuts. you'll be able to tell a difference I am sure. Will you like it - thats what youre gonna find out hahahahaha

well ...after getting the cable yesterday(fucking amazing shipped on friday in ca. and here on the east coast on monday)

so here's my review of the 18v fulldrive

...first off i never really cared too much for this Fulldrive, i mean it was ok but it just straight up lacked character and was kinda dead sounding -only recently like in the last month or so was i getting some decent tones out of it, before that i just used my amps overdrive channel which is great but i bought this pedal so i could get nice mid range type distortion and use my amps overdrive for the really dirty

going 18v - imho it corrects everything that i didnt like about this pedal - like a high fidelity version of the same pedal
-it really lets the best of my clean channel come thru with the overdrive -those underlying belltones that were missing when i used the pedal before are now back plus it adds a little bottom end that was missing on the 9v

~running 18v totally makes this pedal imho >>>the subtle differences mean everything!!

so damn bro , i gotta thank you for this tip!! ...for real yeah

on a serious note, which yoy might like, or not, seeing as my tips are crap hahahah
I prefer to operate mine in the non compressed mode. I actually have mine set up with a rubber foot under the pot to keep it up. i think you have flip switches on yours...
anyways...
its like PURE SIGNAL. no restrictions on the sound wave to be "processed".... THE WHOLE THING GETS DONE.

that hits the front end of the amp, then to the power amp juiced by those tubes..... FUCK

anyhow I was using that hotrodded ts9 called the fulldrive with jb buckers and a nice old marshall running wide open and got as heavy as adam jones especially when paired with my mesa dual rect...
but then i could roll back the volume knob and the sound would clean up like fucking MAGIC

you ever play with the volume knob on the guitar while plugged into a real ts9? the ts9 is either on or off doesnt matter about how much signal you are feeding it.... but with the fulldrive its can tell and responds accordingly.

im sure you already now this though....

hows your signal chain going form guitar to pedals to amp?
