Wah Wah Pedals Rule!!!!

Been running a Teese RMC Wizard wah for a looooong time. Killer wah. true bypass circuit, a nice volume boost, and responds really well to the duncan jbs i like to use... plus it doesnt have any knobs for me to 'fine tune'. Just step on it and go.....

I had an urge to change up the sound of the sauce a little bit...

Found an "on the rarer side" Dime Cry baby custom.... in pretty good shape and got it for under $40!!!!
Red Fasel inductor... true bypass, and set from the factory the way Dime liked em set up (unlike the crybaby from hell which is totally adjustable)....

I had both wahs going to see which i liked better for the new signal chain, and goddamn....
Les Paul > Fulldrive > Wah > AD9 > Marshall 4104 = FUCK YEAH!!!
Switched out to the G&L Tele, then the Supernova... same thing.

The fucking Dime Custom has melted my heart. Best under $40 Ive ever spent. I cant believe I am gonna take the Teese off the permanent board and put it into the "back up" bag. Sigh.....

all of the available space in my grow room is utilized to the fullest.. no room for to people...

i spent a lot of time refining the signal chain. wayyyyyy tooo much time.
I went thru so many overdirve/distortion pedals and delays and fucking different patch cables trying to get things just where I wanted it and needed it.....
but it sounds like electric butter to the ears

if i could just learn how to playguitar.....
if i could play guitar like i can grow pot....

man.....

when i got my wizard i was trying out the buddah the fulltone clyde and a cae right next to it...

The new Cry Baby's really suck! The transistors are really harsh in the top end, and they have way too much gain. Where is the sweep? I much prefer the old Colorsound wah's or the Morleys VS the new Dunlop or Vox offerings. The red fasel inductors in the original Cry baby's where fucken amazing! Robin Trower can fuck the shit out of a Wah wah pedal.

thats why I had gone the custom/boutique route with the wah (and overdrive, too).... That was back when you could still buy 'seconds' from Fulltone directly... was that so long ago hahahaha

I got to try a Fulltone RTO the other day... typical fulltone product - liquid tone....

nice score bro.....I like to use finger bend's and the tremolo bar for my wah sounds.....problem was finding one that didn't knock the tuning 10 ways to sunday...then on a whim I played a prs se in guitar center I wailed on that damn bar like nobody's business and the muddafugga stayed in tune...I did not like the 800 $ price tag so I reluctantly handed it back to the clerk.....went to ebay and bought 2 a santanna and a custom semi hallow body.....also got a gig bag and a beautiful hard shell case all for about 900 which is basicly what I woulda paid at guitar center if you add on the sales tax....Anyway turns out PRS makes his own humbuckers and theses things have warmed my heart such great tones and responce....anywho happy playing man......

2 for the price of one is the only way to fly....
get em cheap on ebay take that extra saved cash and get them a pro set up and WHAM youre shit is soooo golden

the semi hollow makes me jealous even thought I have a manchester blue supernova....

PRS makes some GREAT pickups no doubt

I think PRS uses/features locking tuners... thats probably why you didnt go out of wack bending that bar 10 ways to sunday... a good set of tuners can add extra sustain as well as keep your shit in tune....

being in tune is sooooooo worth it

the semi hallow I got was upgraded with gotoh locking tuners a wilkinson intoneable bridge and usa made mira p/u's from prs.....no bar....The santanna was just all stock......I agree about the right tuners and eventually will upgrade the santanna...had them both set up profesionally for 160.......the stock santanna holds tune pretty well with bar use the best I've ever seen with out a lock nut......

I always wanted to have both blue & union jack... but a fucking Marshall always got in the way (I traded both union jack for Marshall heads).
Im not sure im gonna ever be able to scoop up the Union Jack a thrid time.... if I did though..... ooooooo

hey that wrap around bridge is kick ass on the semi....

you ever do that with other guitars w stop tail pieces - wrap the strings around it ala zakk wylde? another way to improve sustain, add BEEF (really! try it), and cut down on broken B strings...

the unionjack was just a internet pic not my guitar......but aren't they the same as the supernova?......I have not played the semi hallow with the stock bridge but yea I like the wrap around.....I'm all about sustain and the b is still the 1st one to go everytime.

the supernova came in two color versions...
manchester blue and union jack
same stuff just different look.
i wore the signature off the pickguard the first night i brought my first one home and plugged it into the Fender Deluxe...

I read an article by zakk wylde about the "wrap around" action and it's sole purpose was to keep the B from breaking. The sustain and beef were a surprise if I remember correctly... it changed the way I did things and enhanced my tonality.

gee G.S. you're making me blush......I'm sorry if I come off as flaunting them I'm just super in love with them everything about them is sexy to me.....especially the tones I like to just plug in to the jamman looper and lay down a rytham track and just play along.....
dude don't let the se thing hold you back from getting a prs...they arent american made but they are very high quality for their price range.....from the flame maple tops down to the p/u's everything has to meet PRS's standard ....you can get them on ebay for 1/2 price .......Man that blond girl has me distracted like a mix of heather locklier and kim bassinger in their prime with a dash of cindy crawford mixed in.............man buddy,you live in paradise and smoke only the finest flowers,now if you told me that was your missus I'd have to think the idea of you being jellous of anything was just plain silly.......be well bro.
