hmmmm, i just noticed in the poll that the California residents that are voting NO are winning!

and the majority of NO voters do not apply, since they DO NOT live here......

its all the out of stat kats that want it more then the Cali residents......

i really thought we were losing by a landslide on this website, but only seems to be the same people arguing for the YES side that are on all the prop 19 threads.....

nice, very nice.......:comfort:

Common Krunch, you are smart than that. You know the poll shows that YES is leading by a large margin. Common. :)

In case you missed it, there are TWO Cal-Resident yes vote options. You need to add them together.

you're the one that has me scratching my head the most.... didn't you just get busted?

I talked to some friends in Cali today and they said from a causual smokers perspective this bill will pass in a landslide... just a prediction tho! Just like this poll.... unofficial! lol

Then u should know that 19 would only help u Leo would have no law to arrest or ticket u. 215 is still not protecting us from prosecution this we all know. 19 will only help. we all know that its not perfect but we are working on it. It is the right move now to vote yes on this and keep working to get everything else to fall into place. Any new bill will still need to go through the same process.
Uh, I get that, but I would rather have to go through some trouble, then to adopt prop19. Because there will be a better prop next year. They know the problems with this one if it doesn't pass. Maybe next year they will fix them and run it again.

What else does it entail for you, that you must vote no?? Be specific...I will be Grading you--:)
I've done this, with you actually I think lol. Maybe even this thread? Probably not..

I dont like the three, five, seven year prison terms for "criminals". No one can claim injury, and yet someone can get put away for up to seven years? Way lame, not what consensual cannabis use is about.

I dont like the garden limits at all.. If they have to have limits, make it bigger.

This is a big move for everyone in California. The right to have cannabis sold in your county should be put up to the people directly, not politicians.

Also, I haven't been able to substantiate anything from the rumors started from that guys article on 19, but I am a tad worried about their wording and future intentions with personal medical cultivation. I was, and still pretty much am certain that everything, even personal unlimited cultivation, will hold and even be strengthened from 19, but I'm still hesitant on that part a bit..

sure did! and if prop 19 would of been in effect, i would of still been busted, even though people are trying to say that the police would not of had probable cause, but no one can produce the evidence......

I can produce Evidence that (according to what you have said) you were in compliance of Prop 215...but that didn't turn out so well for you--
The difference is, under 215, the burden of proof is on you to prove you are a patient...and protected by 215/420 Laws--
If 19 passes, it will be a Law covering everyone...so now, there is no burden of proof on the person, to show they are covered under the Law...you ARE covered under the Law--
The "Intent" of 19, which will be scrutinized to the fullest...is that it is legal for all persons over 21, to possess Cannabis-- I doubt, even the slipperiest of Lawyers will be able to construe that to, "We can search everybody"--

im sorry dude, i really dont want to argue, i respect you.......

but these are all assumptions again........

i want to see where it says police will not search or cannot search my vehicle if prop 19 passes and they smell pot......

alcohol is legal, but will search your car if they smell alcohol, they will test you as well....

Couldn't a cop in a say a "non friendly" city or county, if he found weed on you... Couldn't he make your life difficult by charging you with distribution (since all sales are illegal in his beat) and let the court figure it out?

They would have to place you within a certain criteria for that...if they are playing by the books--
If not, as we all know many don't....then, yeah...there is no way to protect yourself against crooked cops--
I believe this will prolly happen...but as with 215, they will get tired of losing Case after Case....and it will mellow out--:tiphat:

But that ain't gonna stop me from talking--:tiphat:
From the other Thread-- (We should have done this all in one--lol)

Because there is no Open Container law with Pot--
If you got pulled over...and the cop seen a gun under your jacket...and you have a Permit to carry it...they cannot just search the rest of your car...to see if there are more guns--
They must follow Protocol--

I would be willing to bet....within 2 months of prop 19 passing, a case very similar to yours will go through the courts and get tested. The cops are going to try everything they can UNTIL the courts make them back off.

Remember how things changed after 215 passed? Remember how it used to be 6-8 years ago compared to now? So we can't really talk in absolutes because even if the law is in black and white, enforcement will vary with time.

I expect THEM to buck a bit at first when they get this saddle and bit put on them....But they will break.....they WILL break. Whether they like it or not. They are being broken like horses one by one, just like they did to us. We have 2 past incidents to gauge this by, both the repeal of alcohol prohibition AND prop215.

KB, hang in there and dont get jaded bro.

yes if you where up to date on what is going on u would not sound like a tard. Krunch may not have been arrested read this Posted by VTA

Are you familiar with State Bill ABX6 9? If not I suggest you read it. Mainly because I think your FEAR abut Medical rights and 215 will be put to rest. You see ABX6 9 is the first look at what the State of California envisions the law to be like if 19 is to pass. It is a Bill designed to regulate Marijuana on a state level. All the so called 'gray areas' are covered. remember, this is the State doing this. In the Bill you will read a couple times how medical Marijuana is NOT covered in this law and it shall NOT be subject to ANYTHING related to the commercial regulations and taxes.

So there you have the State, ready with something already to go in-case 19 passes. BTW...they are upping...the Sate that is...the personal possession limit from one ounce to 16. yep...a pound on your person, walking or driving drown the street...will be A OK.

over 70,000 people last year received a LIFE LONG misdemeanor drug conviction on their perm record. Over 10,000 people WENT TO JAIL and received a FELONY for growing as little as one plant.

Prop 19 would end that. Don't be so foolish!

Try to give us a REAL reason we should say no and continue this total bullshit. One worthy reason.

Oh...and if it applies...it's ok to 'come out' and admit your afraid of losing money....if it applies that is.

so you want me to vote for Prop 19, in hopes california will makes things better for me down the road with another bill? fat chance, government never makes things better, only worse.

Im not voting in hopes of anything. The way I read prop 19, its a 1 ounce limit, which is pure bullshit. Not going to dismiss that because "state of california" might take care of it.

You really need more than an ounce when you go out??
Keep in mind, it says you can have an unlimited amount in your house...oh, and Concentrates are now the same as bud, under Prop 19--

Damn...it seems like I am writing the same shit over and over again-- This is not my "Opinion" folks...this is what it says--
