I must edit this...the way I understood it...they all were looking for a refuge.

Mahmoud ElSohly at the University of Mississippi/cnn
My first job here had to do with poison ivy. Then a better-paying position opened up at the Marijuana Project, and I moved to that. I liked the research, and I got on well with my supervisor and mentor, Dr. Carlton Turner, who later became the director of drug abuse policy in the Reagan White House. So, this work, it just happened.

Taking over for Dr. Turner, his understudy, Dr. Mahmoud Elsohly took over the program where he still runs it to this day.

With very little research granted and a recent $68.8 million contract extension, adding acreage to the outdoor garden to now total 12 acre's, with an inside facility "at least 1000 square feet, having controls for light intensity, photo cycles, temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide concentration" growing in excess of 30,000 plants, one has to wonder?....
Who is all this cannabis for?

My last question for those working on M-Project, did they have trouble cashing their checks at the bank?...
Speaking of draft, never seen a volunteer that looks like it's been mulched. Although maybe it was a volunteer that somebody decided to give some TLC.“Southern Humboldt County California, August, 1978. A volunteer sativa plant out in the meadow."

Nora and all the folks at NIDA...they still want to make sure it's bad for you. That's what I was wondering, where is it all going? All these years, I know some went to the few that had the federal prescription for mj, but there are not many left so who's smoking it all?????
They deal joints. They just want the program to go away and it will when the last patient dies. The irony is the government still refuses to admit any medical benefit and the only reason they say they do it is the result of court order. Yet some of these patients have had their quality of life improved and prolonged even after years and years of steady use with little or no side effects.those few federal med patients are getting shipped herb from 5 or 6 years ago. i think they store it all.
