Was Nixon not intensifying the war on drugs in 1971?Under his period of presidency you got the DEA.Under Carter it got less tense, but that changed under Reagan.

No clue what was going on in every state.. In Cali where I lived cops would just make us grind it into the pavement. We never got taken in. This changed drastically when RR was elected. It was from his wife's just say no campaign while the CIA was importing tons of coke.
