Looking good HL, I also got some of the VNT's to start someday, so will definitely be taking cues from your indoor experience.

awesome, nice seeing the grim lines meet the ace pool. Been wondering lately how the a11/a13 act when crossed out to these 'newer to he market' breeds with such defined heritage..thanks for sharing!:)

Thanks, folks! :tiphat:

On the VNT front, I squeezed into the tent when I had plants out to feed & inspect, and was able to take a shot of VNT #7, the seed plant.
I've seeded her w/ Apollo pollen, hopefully that'll help her finish quicker. She's at 49 days.

VNT cuts #3 & #6 are 15 days in, and it was time to get them in bondage.
Here they are before their haircuts, then the 1st stage of training.

Two to three more wks and they'll get Apollo pollen too.

Today the fun took place! :D

I realigned my tent, taking out one of the 600w's, and both cool tubes, the remaining 600w is hung vertically, bare bulb.
Still using the LED's above, and just ordered a new one.

So here's the two VNT x M.Thai's from clones, right before pollination @ 28 days.

They now join their big sister by ea. having a tent wall to grow up.
The pollination should thwart them from wanting to get too big, that and the tiny pots.

The Flying Tigers are all down. I've been quiet about them because I had an accidental pollination that hit them hard late in flower. (4 wks ago) These were wonderful specimens and it killed me to see the seeds forming. :badday:
By far the best yielding strain I've run this yr. in those small .80 gal Airpots.
I took down FT#1 @ 70 days and FT#14 @ 71 days.
The other two came down in the last few days. They grew out a bit more so the seeding isn't as readily apparent.
Here's FT #5 @ 80 days.

and here's a shot of FT #12 finished

Meanwhile, I've been puffing on FT#1 for a wk. now, no cure.
The fact that I have so much weed to sample right now, and that the FT #1 has been my go-to this wk, really says something!
There is little soar to the high. I keep referring to it as a "hyper-alert" weed. It provides great focus for the task at hand. The more you smoke, the more of the Malawi tranquilizer effect hits you.
I see this as great weed if you were hunting or fishing, where staying quiet and stationary is needed, but an extreme awareness of your surroundings/circumstances is provided.
Great weed to work on too.
Looking forward to seeing what the 3 more Golden Tiger phenos are like w/ a cure.

Congrats on your harvest and great hybrid Highlighter ;)

70-80 days of flowering time is quite good fur such dominant sativa hybrid and the flowers look powerful and exuberant! :rasta: wish you can finish the pure vietnamese x thai in this cycle, very curious to see how they will develop in your garden. Thanks friend!

Hey spiralofeyes, glad you made it!

I took down a few plants last week, and this past weekend I redid my tent, bringing in a portable A/C and switching from the bare 600w bulb hung vertically, to an exhausted horizontal hood.
In doing so, I pulled all the plants and was able to take pics of the VNT's.

Here's VNT #7, from seed @ 84 days.

and a close-up

I apologize for the poor pics, I'm using an old camera.
All plants have been dropping leaves.
It's a learning experience growing this type of sativa in small pots in coco. I'm feeding them my coco nutes, a little leaner than my normal use.

Here's the VNT #3 & #6, both cuts @ 50 days.

Im glad the seeds are maturing as we speak ... Vietnam/Thai x Apollo would be longer to flower and not so good yielder like your Flying Tiger (Golden Tiger x Apollo) but i think the high could be even better if you are looking for the very clear motivational effect.

i think the high could be even better if you are looking for the very clear motivational effect.

That's what I'm aiming for Dubi. :D

I took them all down today. We've had a heatwave this wk. and my poor portable A/C couldn't keep up, temps in the mid- 90's for 3 days.
I did a poor job growing these, could never dial 'em in w/ the nutes, took a lot of high heat, and a bit of lighting screw-ups, but I'll tell ya, not one nanner ever showed! That really impresses me, given the # I coaxed out of most of the genetics I ran this yr.

Here's the #7, the one grown from seed @ 120 days.
Everything was down to single blades during trim, but you can see she was happily shooting out new growth.

Here's the #3 @ 86 days. Very spindly. Could have gone another month easy, but the seeds are mature, and that's the priority.

picture.php

Here's the #6. While you can see the other two are resinous, the #6 was a step above, the only pheno I had that I had to scrape my snips before finishing. Also, more heft to the bud w/ this one. She's the frontrunner for running seed. :D

Hello Highlighter :) Im glad you finally had the chance to harvest the tropical vietnamese nha trang x thai cross, dont worry is not easy to grow her indoors, its more an outdoor hybrid for warm climates, this cross usually needs 3-4 months to mature, love the resinous look of the ovaries, i'm sure they have interesting potency, please let us know what do you think after a bit of curing ;) Best wishes!
