This plant's looking strong. The flower room is in transition, plants are going out and plants are coming in so its a bit confused. The pther sativas were laying down as the lights went out but not the VB/Thai...in the gray bucket...
I stuck her in a very nice corner yesterday with 2, 600's overhead and a 1000 vertical close by.She can't lose in this place and I'd be stoked to see a VB dom female on this first one, my favorite!
Day 26 of 12/12 and shes stopped stretching more or less and is growing wider and filling out.I wish I had 6 of these all in a row, its a very nice plant to look at, it has the kind of developing clusters that you know are going to be fat.She may stretch another 25cm but it'll be all buds.
I am starting to get that itch - It seems when keeping a perpetual indoor - a 12-14 week wait isn't too bad. It just falls in sync.
I think the Full-moon from Nirvana and One of the Neville's cuts are next for me
Exactly! So long as I run my room with no set schedule, its much easier to mess around with 130 day plants( although I think 85-110 is more reasonable!).I love having my rooms with 9 plants all on relatively diff harvest times, just move the lamps around and go deep with the sativas, keep the good 'ol stuff over here and the test zone over here and everybodys happy.
looks much more indicalike than the vietnamese genetics i have, but i also read that the vn black was mixed with some southernchina indica to push up the yield.
though, the funny thing about the true sativas is that you can smoke even the fanleaves (nice taste and get ya pretty high)
but they are much more thin and long than these, plus they have a lime green color i have not seen before (very pale green, almost fluorescent (sorta lol very bright green))
but even the fanleaves are rocketfuel.. gets yer heart raising and yer head in the clouds. (not at one toke though, about 3-4 tokes (for a longtime smoker))
shame the business side of things has pushed the true sativas aside.
(not really that difficult to grow, i topped this plant ive got going, once and grew it for a 1.5 months, still not that tall, 60cm maybe. though it has about 10 tops (takes it awhile longer to grow )
true sativas would make excellent scroggers.
the smoke.
well, here´s the thing, it keeps you stoned for hours (at full strength)
dance inducive and going out.
still a creative smoke (if you sit down, pretty soon ya are real comfortable.)
smoke quite a bit and you´ll be seeing colors in the shadows.
i can see how the 60´s 70´s happened after having smoked this. (this along with the acid lol)
such a shame the business side of things forced sativas away.
they have so many qualities that make up for the long flowering time and less yield (indoors, outdoors they become huge (there are stories of 22 feet tall plants in vietnam, having been there and experienced the sun there and seen the plantlife, well, i can almost believe it, probably 10 foot plants there at least under the right circumstances, perhaps 15 feet.)
though by no means am i against indicas, a favorite smoke upon occasion, its just that the sativa is so much lively (and specially after 20 years of indicas lol)
The leaves on this plant start out fat and wide then elongate into some long thin blades. As you can see this plant is in a great location and will turn out to be pretty dang fat...This is exactly like a great OE, the ones with the smell of rich turned over earth. The top end is going to be pretty funny stuff...
I spent some time this morning repositioning this plant. The setup is semi-stadium with lots of both vert and overhead combos and the plant below was starting to shade out the bottoms of the VB/Thai so I lifted her up about 25cm.
