Vietnam Black X Meao Thai!!

Would love to see a fem cross between this vietnam black and the zamal cut, strictly for the effects.

That sounds wonderful. I would love to see some tropical Asian sativas crossed with Zamal. Meo Thia is another one that comes to mind.

Although my long flowering sativa grow keeps getting pushed back, when I finally do pop my zamaldelica beans I will be crossing my fingers for a nice clean, electrifying Zamal/Thia leaning pheno. I will have some Holy Princess (Cindy X Santa Maria) growing by then which I imagine would make an interesting albeit unstable cross with Zamaldelica. It should help tame those wild African genes a bit without compromising the effects too much.

Got some VBT s coming, have some Zam's too.So, why not?
If I get a good male of VBT, I could cross it with Zam.

Now I have two phenos of Zam, one Malawi leaning and one more sativa like.
Malawi one has broad leaves, sativa one is tall and lanky, thin leaves..
Maybe the sativa one is better for cross?
But then...Malawi one is more potent ;)
Have to think about this ;)

If no one minds, I'm going to resuscitate this thread (and a nice thread it was) to ask a couple of questions about VBxT...

Here's the thing, I have two female clones - one is rangy the other is substantially more compact. IF I were to grow 'em out, I would probably go with the more compact one - I was wondering what pheno this might be? It's not squat but it looks better and perhaps more fully structured than the other pheno - which is tall, wide space nodes and very undeveloped sidebranch sites.

I was also wondering how long people recommend taking the strain - and whether the length of flowering may be pheno related. I'm planning on taking a hiatus come summer and I don't know whether I have the time to grow it all the way out (about 90 days, I guess).

Finally, I would love to hear more from people who have grown it out or smoked it. I have read several threads on this but still don't have a sense as to its "head."

Anyhow - thanks for reading and for your thoughts, sativa warriors!

And hello to Chaco whereever he may be.

Hi mayan,

Depends on the thickness of the stems and , if the stems are thin, flexible, tropical looking then could be a thai compact pheno but is very probably a Vietnam Black early pheno. A pic would help to identify the pheno.

Greetings!

Dubi, there's a seed company carrying the Vietnam Black X Thai. I would like to grab them. Are those seeds suspected of having hermie issues? I would use those for personal breeding traits. Salute.
