One thought on the topping side, a topped plant will need either more root room or more food than an untopped plant. And just for an experiment, can I talk you into taking one of the sticks out and letting the plant flop about a bit? No worries if not.
^^ I've not got mine supported and as I had a little lighting problem the stems got so long that one of the is vertualy lying on the ground. Will post pics once I start my thread
>>GMT, yes, i need to accomodate the roots somehow...i have no support on the smallest 2 in the tray...hold that thought.
>>Alex-F, i lost some plants way back due to lack of support, i usually stake 'em up if they tend to fall over. Bamboo skewers (BB-Q section in grocery store; and bamboo stakes for when they are taller.)
>> scrappy!! hi there. thanks for poppin in!! got any pix of yours??
..................................................
update: i have 'The claw' on most of these in the tray...as well as the 3 GodBud i repotted yesterday. i have started to flush them all. Damn!
Wow Sleepy, very sorry to hear you have some probs.
Could be too much N. What have you been giving them

hope they recover...keep us posted!

Sorry your having problems but you can turn it around as many others have. Don't loose faith! Here is a link for diagnoising plant problems. Hope it helps.
sleepy
You're in good company - you picked up on it and taking care of it so I'm sure they'll perk back up and continue growin... I was a bit late flushing mine the first time - they recovered fine.

my hero:
the above pictures were taken last night.
i'll post some more pix as they recover.
>packn2puff, Mr GreenJeans, HairyBass, thanks all of you!!
>>Dutch, i gave them some Alaska fish fert last week at 3/4 strength...foliar fed with Diamond Nectar once...the soil has bone meal, blood meal, worm castings, light warrior all mixed with garden soil...obviously a little too hot....
thanks for stopping by my 'show', everyone...
I am still learning, thanks for being so kind to me as i f*ck up yet another grow...
ok, it seems that the worst of the claw is over...
its tough to flush plants in a tray! i dug each one up and set it in a larger pot, then submerged the whole thing in plain R/O water. i filled the tray with more soil and nestled each plant back into the tray. i tried to give them even spacing.
there are 6 plants in the tray...
they seem to be just fine, a couple even have trichomes already!
Nice recovery! Learning can test our patience, but the reward is that your skills will get better & better with each grow. I battled some powdery mildew with my last Romulan grow and eventually won that battle. It was a pain in the ass & pissed me off, but now I feel better prepared to handle it, if I ever see it again.
wow, I feel bad, I missed the part about the claw, glad to see ya worked it out. Did ya think about maybe just drilling holes in the bottom of the tray to flush em? Think that's what I'd a done, would of been easier. Hope the uprooting and repotting didn't stress em too bad.
I have been doing a bit of detective work with reards to this Very berry surprise.
We all know that the freebies that are given away on seedbay are Sagarmatha'. because of the contest we had a few weeks back.
So I looked at all of Sagarmatha's seeds that seeds Direct sells and came up with either
BUBBLEBERRY has been one of Sagarmatha's most satisfying varieties to date, creating a legend for herself in the growrooms and neighborhoods of cannabis connoisseurs. Originally conceived in 1996, Bubbleberry has made a perfect hybrid, combining all of the fine qualities of the award winning parents, the ever famous Bubblegum and Blueberry strains. In 1998-1999 this luscious lady won the prestigious San Francisco Bay Area Growers award. We acknowledge that the expertise and diligence of the individual growers also played a role in her victory and we wish to thank each and everyone of those providers. (this costs 70 Euros for 10,- WOW)
Or the WONDERBERRY
We have blended the strength and vigor of Bubbleberry with the growth characteristics of Williams Wonder, a plant considered one of the best in the 1980's. The plants compliment each other with their unique qualities. She is a shorter, rounder version of the Bubbleberry persuasion and has a slightly earlier flowering period. (this costs 55 Euros for 10,- WOW)
BLUEVELVET grew them and this is her picture.
and this is the picture from seeds direct of the Wonderberry
DO THEY LOOK ALIKE? there is some resemblence in the frostiness...
