hey wonka id say the bag appeal was pretty average, but anyone who can smell it is unlikely to doubt it ;) - i'll try and get some pics

sm0k4 - ill pop over in a minute and answer you in the other thread!

hey bootz - it was always a tough mum - the powerplant - because she started budding as soon as she became potbound. she was in the back of my mum cab and after i root pruned her perhaps she got overwatered??. bit neglected i guess. there may be some hope still...

Your SourDawg is lovely mate. Just smoking a fat J of it now. I am a sucker for the fuely ones.

It has that lovely lemony fuel smell of the ECSD. Yet when smoked it def has some extra meatyness coming from some of that ghan heritage.

Beautiful smoke. Lovely white ash. So nice to get some true organics into the lungs.... will defo have to play with this lady myself.

Hasn't quite got the chemy funk that the original Diesel has / AJ cut but has more of the fuel lemons that is so characteristic of the ECSD. But with a little more body in stone and taste.

I will do a proper smoke report with some pics in next few days....

Think I may have to hit a bit of PB next.... I have forgotten what that is...... x black forest?

i hope those black cheese x white russians and black cheese x mazar i shariff get some part of the action too :) i promise you wont be disappointed ! the russian cross yields bigger and has a more up high (i think you like this more?), the mazar cross is so strong its a joke. it has an indescribable earthy sweet and sour spicy kush taste which comes from the mazar and the sole reason why i keep the mother plant. you will be in the clouds for 30-60mins before you start daydreaming on the couch. good for nap time smoke and stress relief. in the swazi x skunk batch we found some runts that didnt like to veg fast and very thin stem but the good ones are super vigorous and smell of sweet liquorish. very sativa dominated cross that one. BC x WR is my favorite :) if you starved for space just pop 1 of them to check it out?

Nice work with the new camera. Those BB nugs are top-notch.

That DCq is going to be something special.....

With all these strains, you need a loft extension lol...must be a nightmare choosing what to run next.

SB - yeah the Bb goes 10-12 - could have taken it earlier but didnt have time really

fonzee - thanks for stopping by !

Blimey - im pretty encouraged by the dcq - certainly it seems fat nugged for a DC and with there also being twice as many i can see this being a winner. frosting up ok as well. smells sort of meaty and citrus. also think its going to be a quick one, maybe 6-7 weeks. the rooted cut hasnt started growing yet but hopefully it will be ok, there were defo roots on it!
yeah its annoying space wise. i already had lots of seeds waiting to try and now i have come by some excellent cuts, really im very lucky and should thank those who made it possible. ive expanded as much as i reasonably can so i'll just have to work my way through them. tough job but someone has to do it :D
what i love is variety and trying new stuff so its all good.

bootz im really interested to try this white russian/Black cheese cross. i'll pop a couple as soon as space allows. this latest round of seeds were popped a few weeks ago and i have a specific cross for them in mind, but as soon as i know what i have it will get easier.

ill get some snaps of the next round as soon as they have settled into their new pots... hopefully i'll be able to squeeze a few cuts in too

hey bobbo, yeah i usually try to trace the branches back to the middle and cut them off, trim them up and hang em. then i take the rest if the smaller buds off and lay them in a box to dry.

and introducing the new plants - we have Mr.Greengenes Cherry Bomb, which is a Maui Wowie ibl. he gave some of these to the server fund a while back. these had been sitting around over xmas /new year but got repotted 3 days ago - and were topped and flipped to 12/12 (and watered lol) just after the photo.

i also have some new cuts, quite a few of them due to a generous friend :)
i have a Chem D, a Casey Jones and both the ECSD and the original Sour D vegging up. depending on what i get m/f wise from the CB i will flower some of them in the next round too. would like to run he two Sour D's together if i can....

I always find the Deep Chunk (DC) to be really ugly and leafy.
Never smoked any.
What do you think about this strain?

Hey SB - DC is Deep Chunk, its a pure afghan indica/hashplant line.

fonzee - yeah i guess you could say DC is ugly lol, certainly leafy - although the sugar leaf is like beautiful tobacco to smoke. i really like to smoke it and it is a great experience to grow - like the opposite of haze lol. the yield is tiny though - less than half of anything else i have ever grown. this quadrifoliate one actually looks like a good yielder for DC but still will be tiny compared to my scrogs. i even scrogged a DC cut once and still the yield was pretty small. but i like smoking it, its also said to be a great breeding strain and i have made a few crosses with it that i have yet to grow out.

The Cherry Bomb i am very excited about growing for the first time - been waiting to run this for a while now. - what with all the new cuts too i feel like ive hit the jackpot...

hey unthing - yeah i want some boys from the Cherry bomb. i have a specific cross in mind for it and it will also be a pretty ideal think to cross with the clone-only's to make seeds as well.

hi wonka - yeah ive really hit the genetic jackpot thanks to the generosity of some peeps - really it could take years to get hold of all the cuts i was gifted in one go.
interestingly though i left a bud of the sourdog and he wants a cut of it! - even though the guy has the real deal chem d and both the sour d and ECSD!
