forgot to say - the JTR yield was 65 grams which works out to just over 1g/watt - so at the lower end of the scale for me. nice smoke - great smell which i cant place just yet - buzzy up high - quite clear

oh yeah - ive put a late entry into the LED giveaway promotion - im pitching to get a 205 watt unit as a direct replacement for the 250 HPS. - lets see how much bigger the buds can get in this cab with more light but less watts. if you fancy giving me a plug the thread is here

right, i chopped the Blueberry today at 9 weeks. thought i'd see what it was like with a slightly earlie harvest and it was running out of steam anyway. smell is amazing though.

and it's pretty frosty from the CMH. i would definitely say more resin uner this lamp - not that it was ever short of resin

this sharksbreath will be chopped next week

i must day the buds on this look as dense as last time so thumbs up for the CMH

finally here ya go blimey - 4 of my Black forrest crosses, an attempt to sog in a quarter they grew too tall and had to be bent over. what a mess!
the main thing is that i'll get to try them though which was the point. i vegged them for two weeks (which was probably 2 weeks too long) and flowered them in 2.5 litre pots
here at 5 or 6 weeks i guess - you can see the BB on the left

hey barth - my screens are about 12x13 and i try to get 3 rows of 4 colas on each one. with yours you should be able to get 3 rows of 5 colas. obviously they very seldom work out perfectly and usually there will be a gap or two but thats what i would aim for.

i won one of the 205 watt LED lights to put in this cab and compare to the results ive already got with HPS and CMH

irie - thanks - it remains to be seen if there is a yield drop with the CMH but if there is it definitely wont be by much - and if the quality goes up i can live with it anyway. definitely more frost and aroma.

bengie187 - yeah the blueberry came out ok but its a shadow of what it was before if you look back in the thread. good learning curve though.

Blimey - yes the BFxcheese has slightly bigger buds but the BFxpowerplant is more dense. very similar too look at in general though.

hi Dr Dog - yes the sharksbreath really suits a scrog, you could probably take it 12 weeks or so and it would keep growing. im gonna try it at 10 this time. those great white shark genes make it a heavy hitter

thanks - not sure yet about when i will get the new LED light or when it will kick off. ive just started putting the Deep Chunk plants in, 4 to a quarter, to sex them. always hard to plan stuff when you dont know how many girls you have to contend with. ill certainly run some of my cuts in there so we can get good comparisons.

bootz! - funny you should say that, i thought the BF looked very similar to some pics ive seen of malawi gold.

VerdantGreen- thanks for the thread i found a lot of useful information here. i especially liked the tips on sativa vs. indica when dealing with the stretch and filling the screen. i have a couple mutt strains, one supposedly called 'pure sativa' and one called 'jah kush' i received them as clones and don't have much information on them. right now the sativa is just touching the screen about 10" or so from the soil line. this is my first go with the ScrOG so we'll see how they run. last time i let them grow normally and the sativa shot way past everything in the room and almost past my light. well over 6' so i'll have to keep my eye on her.

sounds like your sativa might be about ready to flip. clones are easier than seed plants imo but its always a bit of guesswork and luck on the first run. keep good noteas and records so you will know better for the next run

looks like it will take a little while to arrive though as i need a UK plug which is special order and china is on national holiday atm. so it looks like ill be finishing the Deep Chunk under CMH which is cool.
the LED grow diary will start sometime in march i think - which will give me plenty of time to veg up a few cuts etc

hi all, sharksbreath was chopped today - DNA seem to have managed to piss everyone in the seed biz off lol, but their sharksbreath strain is a good do-er - probably mainly down the the great white shark genetics in there.
at 10 weeks 2 days - slightly earlier chop this time to see if it has more head to it - it has stone a plenty great pain killer/muscle relaxant

and the Deep Chunk. these are being run in 1 gallon pots, 4 to each quarter.
i put 4 in a week ago and another 4 in today to take up the space the SB opened up. the plan is to keep all the males and collect pollen to dust the lower buds on all the females. tall order in the space i have but i'll give it a go. i also have to clone them yet but the side branches are just too small so far.

Just curious, who have they pissed off besides the Gypster?Also, is it because of that feud that I cant seem to find many threads on DNA's gear? After trying countless other breeders,nothing is Danker than DNA
