Guy's these girls are beauty cuties head turners. Afghanica, any chance you will revege the sections that have the variegation? The plant is showing such a nice pattern with the green and yellow blotches.

Yeah, I'm going to re-veg. The variegated branch is about 2 1/2 feet long, and has a bunch of it's own side branches. I'll take off about half of it and that'll leave a good chunk of material that should help it survive and thrive.

Crazy because ive seen chemdog post that the D has a virus but the one we received from Joe B directly grows TURBO!
Your right because those are my sources. There was no difference in the smoke between the two cuts.

i grew out some seeds of vanilluna recently, the good two clones produced almost black/purple buds. One plant was pretty messed up so i tossed it with krinkle or some similar issue. These vanilunas have lots of weird genetics mixed into them. The 2 phenos of 5 females that did best had minimal weird genetics.

Interestingly it seems almost dry when harvested, not thick n juicy but hard n dry - when alive. Dries really light. Great deal if you buy an 8th but not so good if you sell one.

An eighth of fluffy bud weighs the same as an eighth of hard bud :).

Really beautiful, and good to learn about variegation, hopefully some future bean will variegate for me (can i use it as a verb?). I have a friend with a pigmentation issue, I'll have to let him know that he would smoke smooth :).

Does anyone have a Vanilluna taste/smoke report?

Thanks Doobieduck,

I'm probably going to give this one another week before I chop. Then I'll do my best to re-veg the variegated section. The colours keep getting richer every day.

At Day 56 ...

wow, thats an amazing bud! I have seen this type of chlorosis before, but I think this must be the most spectacular example I've seen. I hope your giving that plant a real good flush.

excellente. I understand DJ's strains are hard to flush when grown in soil because they require so little nutrients anyway.

Is it just the one bud that looks like that, can we see the rest of the plant(s)?

I'm growing in coco, and that seems to flush very well. My runoff EC is now no higher than the feed.

Only one branch is variegated, and the top shows the most color, but other smaller buds also display the purple hues to some extent.

There are pics of some of the other big buds on this plant on the previous page.
