vape pen ?

The button on my Atmos crapped out in a month and I have a few eGo pens now that work well for puffing around and being stealthy. With the coil like pictured above, the batteries and I would say 99% of the other parts of all these pens are made in China. Use it a lot and be careful loading and it will last for a while no doubt.

I have a few ego upgrade and vision batteries…
and I always used globes similar to the one m314 posted…until I discovered the Seego, V-hit
(There are several styles, I prefer the v-hit B, to the v-hit C-- the B doesn’t roll around when you set it down the way the C style does, making the B less likely to break…Replacement parts are easy to find on eBay if you do break the glass piece-- I stockpiled tons of extra parts, including glass pieces, piles of atomizers, ready for when they eventually burn out… Oh, and they have the 'v-hit Reload' for flowers too, which I have yet to try.)

The advantages with the V-hit B, (as opposed to the v-hit C or glass globes), is that the v-hit B is much more discreet than the V-hit C or globes…
a) The vhit's have a “lid”, so you don’t have a bunch of oil splashing on the glass, the way you do with a globe-- instead of an amber residue all over the glass, it stays clean, making far more ‘incognito’.

b) I feel like the globes might look like battery operated crack pipes to the unfamiliar; while the v-hit B looks more like the popular tanks used for nicotine liquid, that the average person is more likely to be familiar with…looking more like a tank style vape attachment, (the Kanger Pro, being my preference when I need a tank style, for liquid concentrates), while still getting the huge rips you would get from a globe.

c) the v-hit atomizers seem to last much longer, than any of the different style of globes I have tried.

I’ll post some pix later if I remember…in the meantime, search for "V-hit atomizers" on eBay if you are interested, (fyi: make sure the titanium base is laser etched “V-hit B”, to be sure it’s not a fake.)

i was considering g pen so in the end i ended up with a crappy b class pen wow 80 bucks down the drain.
Vape pens are all the rage out here in CA!

This type of pen is highly rated. Even Snoop dog has his own signature brand on it.

http://www.grencoscience.com/

I tried a similar one (different name), but same quality, and was very impressed. First vape pen that actually worked for me!

Always check what each pen will take. Some take only flowers, some only concentrates and some both.

Perhaps the most important factor in quality and usability is the BATTERY!

The stronger the battery the more likely it will work well and last longer, but it will be more expensive. Try to get something with at least 1000 mAh or close to it. Some go to 2000 mAh, esp. if you are using it for oil.

You should also price replacement parts as often the heating element/container needs to be replaced within a couple of months. So battery and element replacement costs should be considered.

I like that someone pointed out how addictive it is, and how much product you use. I can understand why ppl go back to smoking flowers.

The people I see who are vaping all the time are somewhat weirded out...don't know if it's due to other things (like caffeine) or the addiction.

But it does get you very high if you use good product!

And don't buy cheap chinese ripoffs. You will be disappointed.

How long does it take for the atomizers to burn out? I've only lost a couple so far. One from trying to clean it with a brush (bad idea) and one from trying to unscrew it from the base when it was stuck from oil buildup.

I keep a few atomizers in rotation. After a while I soak them in a jar of 99% isopropanol to clean off the excess oil. I clean the globes the same way. After a while, I take the jar of iso, let it evaporate, and use the oil for edibles. It's been working out great so far.

I'll have to check out those Seego v-hit vapes. :) I've broken a few of the glass globes already. Something more discreet would be perfect for concerts.

I’m really not sure how long the v-hit atomizers last, but it seems to be a pretty long time…I have a few different ones going, (diff. flavors, Indica/Sativa), and have always switched them before they burned out, (I haven’t yet had one die on me), so it’s hard for me to answer…But, they seem to last a lot longer than the other types of atomizers I’ve used in the past and are only $3-4 for replacements…I have a little bin full of extras…Just make sure to get a couple extra glass pieces too, that’s the only piece I’ve had to replace since October or November…

Wish I could be more help…Trust that you will love the vhit B! (Just make sure the base is laser etched, with “Seego V-hit B”, to ensure it’s not a knock off.) I’d love to hear what you think if you order one!
Enjoy!!

I have about 200 hits on this Chosen Vape now. It works flawlessly so far.

. I got it for a discreet recreational vape pen. I never liked vaping because I am old school and smoke out of wood pipes, joints and bongs. I like smoke and want my weed and stuff burned up. I want a TOKE. Not a wimpy ass , mamby-pamby wiff of flavorful wind.

This does both and it does it to everything. ISO hash, bubble hash, kief and buds. If you use it with no ceramic disc and the top spring it will burn the material to ash. It will deliver a big, smokey, lung expanding toke that will instantly hit you. You know you got a really big hit.

If you put the ceramic disc over the heating coil and remove the top spring it will vaporize the material. When you take a hit it does have more flavor but you don't feel like you got a very big hit. Some smoke does come out on exhale but not like incinerate mode. But you do get high. Very stoned. There will be unburned looking but different looking left overs.

I like it because it is discreet like you have an e-cig. It is great for a quick hit when out and about on a drive or a hike. Dinner over at a non smokers house or group gatherings just go outside and take a quick one.

It feels much more solid than other ones I tried and has a very easy draw. Some that my friend had took a lot of power to toke them. Plus they were vaporized hits that are not my cup of tea. One was as big as a small remote control too. Some tasted like plastic. Not this one.

The usp charger is cool too. And it has a wall plug adapter.

I wouldn't have ordered any vape pen if I didn't get a chance to smoke this Chosen Vape at my friends house. He has had so many different vape things. He loves gadgets. He loves his Volcano. he never got me hooked on vaping before. He is one of those guys that had every gaming system there was. He is the same way with bongs and vapes. LOL!

The skull on the end lights up blue when pen is being used. Way cool!

Here are the rest of the pics.

It cleans up easy too.

Even the box speaks of quality. It has packaging as impressive as Apple Computers who are known for having the best packaging in the world. This box gives them a run for their money.

I don't know about those china vape pens with the different names. I bought one for $100 and it lasted maybe a week. The heating coil is crap

Oh, a side note…I didn’t realize when I posted but my sister has been using the same coil for 2 months and it hasn’t burned out yet.

Not a good idea. Isopropyl alcohol contains toxins and should never be used for human consumption, even 99% (read the warnings on bottle!). Try everclear or other high quality ethanol.

I'm going to test and review some vape pens from wannabe advertisers on icmag. We'll only go with the one that works best. :)
We'll publish the review(s) in the next issue of ICMag.

A test review is a great idea Skip. Looks like your going to be really stoned for the benefit of us all.

I predict Skip gains 4-7 pounds over the course of the test due to severe munchies.

UPDATE

The Choosen vape pen I bought is still working great. The battery charge lasts for ever. It has been easy to clean.

I was worried the paint would rub off or come off when I used alcohol to clean out the inside ignition chamber but it didn't.

I jam mine full of ground up bud and it last for a days worth of puffs when out and about. This is going to be great for fishing. The wind will not stop me from getting high anymore.

I only consume flowers - sometimes flowers with dry sift added. Been using a Da Budha for 2 years, so that's my reference.

First portable effort was a Magic Flight Box. It takes practice to have the small output get where it needs to get and do what it needs to do. It's some work. I didn't care for having to carry the AA cells it needs and just found it clunky all around. It would do in a pinch and was very stealthy because of its small size and tiny output.

Got an Arizer Solo last week. It is unbelievably efficient. Small enough, substantial and convenient. Does some things better than the Da Budha and everything but stealth better than the Magic Flight Box. I wouldn't be too put out to use the Solo exclusively.

Hey man I saw that on that site myself. Mind explaining how it works. Especially how well it would work in a situation like a ski lift. I google and utubed it with no luck. Thanks

I got my slighty stupid pen today. They pen vaped nice. But I had issues with the button. It moves about an is funky to me. Made a hole in the first session an torn on the third. Customer service is good. But I don't feel it is worth the price tag. Also thy use fake photo shops pictures on the website of the pen not actual pictures of the pen. If the button looked like it did in the photo shop picture it would be better. I'm trying to send mine back.
