Any argument that cannabis has no accepted medical use is baseless and so obviously false that the majority of Americans (including those who don't use cannabis at all) in poll after poll don't believe it. How the DEA could continue to try to dupe people to believing this is baffling.
How anyone in any branch of government has any credibility with anyone baffles me yet here we are.

Not only does it help to ease symptoms of diseases but it also eases the side effects of the big pharmacy poison
Other than that it doesn't do anything but keep the snack food industry in super yachts

I qualify for heavy opiates for degenerative joint disease
Use infused simple syrup and coconut oil to make edibles to manage my pain
Movement/stretching in the morning and an infused coffee at noon, NO pills needed
Make chocolates for a friend with a 10%THC15%CBD cultivar that gets extracted with ethanol and reduced into coconut oil
Overnight worker who took prescription sleep meds but switched to the infused chocolates for much better effects and end results, waking up clear headed
Solid sleep, uninterrupted unlike ambien

When the corrupt/treasonous design the system, the do do that the system can not be changed by the people. Like 2016 primary where DNC preferred trump to Sanders, who was 20 points ahead of both trump and hiliary. He represented change, and possibly accountability. No one in government has any accountability. Look at menendez caught with briefcase with $1 million cash from isreal and others, and still in office, and no mention of charges.

Try not to pay too much attention to the puppet show, much of it is a distraction, however there is corruption which needs to be uncovered. We need to keep our eyes fixed on the areas of policy where the tires meet the road:

cannabis policy which allows small businesses to prosper and promote competition in the marketplace,

monetary and fiscal policy to stabilize the economy and promote growth,

and foreign policy to promote peace and stability in the world while respecting nations right to self govern.

Promoting states rights and protecting liberty.

We need a constitutional amendment to make growing for personal use permanently legal
In all seriousness though it is really important to protect the small and individual growers
They will take the chances on the genetics and cross breeding for the good of the community
Don't think Monsanto has any good intentions
The corporations lining up to get into the business is scary
This is where states rights have to assert themselves or lobbyists will force all kinds of bad regulation on good products and then deregulate all the bad corporate practices
My medical dispensary turned me on to thunder struck, a 1:1 CBD/THC cultivar that makes great sleep meds but also a great vape experience if you want to be chill and a little high but able to fully function on a night out on the the town (no driving)
Doubtful a big commercial grow would take the chances or the time to sell me on one of my favorite cultivars
Corporate will be selling 150% THC something in a sparkling package that will leave you passed out in your car in a pool of big gulp
Sorry for the ramble, too much coffee

Actually I think they should make amendments to the constitution reguarding cannabis. Alcohol was prohibited and repealed through constitutional amendments. Right now, the CSA, constitutioinally has no standing because its not a specific authority delegated to the federal governmnet within the Constitution. Any authority not specifically given to the federal government in the Constitution becomes the authority of the states it says.

Anytime you federally regulate something like alcohol or tobacco you will create illegal markets
This has been cannabis' lot in life since prohibition in the early twentieth century
They will probably try to categorize it as an industrial crop thus coming under federal guidelines
States can easily smash that argument and we can introduce new research and lab results to crush their arguments
Time to get facts back into the courtroom

So far the governments have all floundered legalization as all of them have created a thriving black market.
The illegal domestic cannabis market is stronger now than it ever was in my lifetime.

For some reason, they can't wrap their head around the idea of liberty. Do you see something wrong with this picture?

Also the lies about causing psychosis have been disproven, but the false claims are still being repeated by well respected legislators, even this past week!

Once the lie gets out, there, its hard to work to correct it across the public perception and legislators' positions.

Indiana legislators answer controversial questions at first 2024 crackerbarrel session

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana legislators spoke on different subjects at a crackerbarrel session on Saturday.

People also asked why Indiana doesn't just hop on board with legalizing marijuana use. Senator Greg Goode shared that research may point to marijuana causing teen psychosis, but is staying open-minded, to an extent.

"I'm open to hearing from medical providers and public health experts on possible medicinal uses, but I will never support recreational marijuana use," said Goode.

The next crackerbarrel session will be on February 10th at the Vigo County Public Library.

Impact of non-medical cannabis legalization with market restrictions on health service use and incident cases of psychotic disorder in Ontario, Canada

Cannabis is a useful therapeutic tool for mental issues, it helps the mind to heal. They have it backwards, and are repeating the same lie which was propagated during reefer madness about cannabis causing people to become psychotic. Its a complicated issue, and everyone is unique. Maybe if it is causing anxiety issues, that is likely due to the fact that its prohibited which produces anxiety.

Reguardless the majority of people shoudn't be hindered from benefiting from cannabis just because a small rare subset of people may be more affected by side effects. They can adjust their use accordingly if they discover sensitivity to cannabis, and with public education, we can inform people of any potential risks using these products.

It is medicine for the human condition.
I am certain the value of the plant across a wide spectrum of uses is the REASON they are dragging their heels. Cannabis will make us healthy and live longer, have more kids, and unite together which is a threat to their political power and manipulation of the public.

Cannabis prohibition is part of a corrupt eugenics project, to reduce world population, I think.

There are several examples of the medical value of cannabis were it is a substitution or superior to other drugs. What a disappointment, cannabis is a great crop that must be utilized. The propaganda has made it such a taboo in society, its a difficult thing to correct.

Even the FDA synthetic cannabis, Marinol and Dronnabinol, are inferior to herbal cannabis flower or concentrates.

Take time to review the federal and state bills/legislation that have been introduced. Pick the bills you like the most, make note of ways it can be improved, and contact your legislators. Tell them to support those bills, and let them know the changes you'd like to see and why.

Also can send pre-written letters of support of legislation here
