Ive had that experience too somoz the urks are not very mite resistant at all. I straight blasted mine with neem for a few weeks and so far so good.

Man I always thought the urkle was pretty resistant to pests...hum..?

Anyways...carry on with the greatness. warm temps first 6 weeks help keep the growth goin and droppin um at the end gets em nice and colored up :)

hello gro :joint:
hey man your closing in on some more trimming, man i love that stage of this growing thing :yoinks: :yoinks: .......

ya the oger S1 lacks the flovor and the kick to the head like the real og does, BUT BUT BUT its some damn fine weed in its own right, i love the shit if you cant get the real og the S1 are a damn good substitutes for real.....i'm sure your going to like it my friend, just put aside all the BS you have heard about the S1 and use your own jugement......some ppl just dont like them and some do, usualy the ones who dont like them are the ones who have the real deal ones, and the ones who like them are the ones who do not have access to the real deal clone THATS JUST A FACT take it or leave....

hillbilly 420, dont mean to be rude or sound prickish but your gonna have to do alot better then some F2's to get something like urkle or any clone only strain for that matter....it sucks i know but thats just the way it is my friend.....

gro, fernandro i'm going to attempt a trim on my urkles in the morning WISH ME LUCK....

peace :joint:

Wow, thanks for poppin in fellas...

Respect.. thanks dude, I appreciate it!

HH#1... can't get any healthier lookin than that

Somoz my bro.. I have not had any mites or pesty feckers on my urkles.. I did have some mites on my kush and they were mashed up against each other so I was under the impression that the urk was resistant. I do use neem every week or so in veg just as a precaution so that may have somthin to do with it. When I found the mites on the kush I misted that plant with iso alcohol and then hung a few hot shot no pest strips in there and they were history. She's the last one in the room to pick up pm also. Tough lil girl for me so far :chin: Yeah man the temps brought some color in for sure. I turned off the dehum at night for the last 10-14 days or so and it shows... one of the ogre picked up just a lil bit of pm during that time so it's a touchy game. Thanks for comin by bro :joint:

HumanNature.. what's shakin :joint: The smell is my fav.. sweet grapeness some shit like that. The only prob is that the whole front of my house and driveway smells like that.. I've been having to put buckets of pine sol around the front yard on trim days... it works pretty good.

Jaws.. great pics bro. they look like completely different plants now :woohoo: I think you will see them veg nicely from here on out. Sorry to make ya go through the reveg bs. I thought I had em covered but maybe the dark ride to your place got em confused again. It's all good from here on out so that's cool. Thanks for that advise on the S1.. that makes a lot of sense. I don't know if I'm much into tall stretchy plants so not sure if I;'ll ever fill up the room with them. I really like growin stout stubby bitches but who knows.. if somthing really nice shows up I may change my mind  Trimmin is fun on the first 3 or 4 plants then it becomes very tediuous and very time consuming for me. My ol lady won't dare let me trim in the house and watch the tube at the same time so I'm in the garage only :badday:

I am stoked on this... the big mama put out for me :woohoo:
4.6 oz total... 4 z's of very good bud and the rest is pretty good. The thing is almost too dry... no moist buds on the scale.
big mama is the one on the left

BM at day forty sumthin

she's all done here...60 days

I have a couple that are close to her and I have some runts and a lot in between..

hello gro :joint:
ahhhh man 4.5 oz of urkle from one plant :yoinks: dude you must be so stoked right now, thats a bitchin yield and some wicked weed to boot :woohoo: :woohoo: most excellent.......

ya man the S1 do streach a bit but i still like them the weed is great and to me its worth the extra work to keep them under control....i made a cross of oger S1 X oger S1 and pothead is runing one right noe in his thread, he did not top hes and its a beautiful plant with a very nice main cola....from what ive seen of it, it does not look like it strech to bad, maybe the crosses cut down on the over all strech :chin: :chin: ....but then again pothead is a very good grower and he has it in his cab setup so i'm sure that has something to do with it also :chin: ........
grapness me likes :joint: :joint:

Hey garlic you will probably start to see the calyx go purple around the 40-45 day (of 12/12) mark.

I wouldn't expect 4 ounces or even 2.5-3 from the urkle tho. Grown hydro she will yield nice but in soil 4+ ounces from one plant is a phenomenal yield. So far I have yet to pull more than 1.5 ounces from an urkle in soil. I generally don't have the patience to veg for 80 days tho. Or even 60. :joint:

 Thanks for the tip Hughie.

What do you think I'll pull off of these 2?

Sorry Gro for going off topic.

leaving urkle in smaller, restrictive pots can lead to more-rapid growth, just don't let them get rootbound and keep her moist!

she does amazing in coco, as i've found out. about to put her in a big 2-plant dwc bucket under either a 400 or 600 horti hps and go nuts. in a coco/hydroton mix.

Well Im not much of a guesser on yields but if I had to I would say somewhere between a half zip and a zip each.

As Im sure you noticed they don't stretch at all in soil. To get any sort of a yield from her you gotta veg them about twice the size they are now. :yoinks: LMAO I remember when I first got the urkle I flowered out one clone in 3 gallons of soil and 1 in a waterfarm. I vegged them the same (3 weeks) and the soil plant gave me under a half ounce (one single cola) while the waterfarm grew into a fat ass bush (no larger than 2.5 to 3 ft high but larger around) and produced over 6 ounces. :yoinks:

If ever there was a plant where hydro was a HUGE benefit, it would be urkle, for the sheer fact that you cut off 2/3 of your veg time to achieve the same yield. Seriously, I challenge anyone who grows in dirt to go get a waterfarm and try one plant. You will be sold for life. :joint:

Not to sell hydro or anything but with this particular strain its just not very efficient to grow in soil at all. Vegging 90 days to get 4 ounces when I could veg for only 21 days and achieve the same result, power aint cheap these days you know.

IMO of course. :D

So Fernandro I should have left it in a smaller bucket and then transplanted to a bigger one as she got bigger? I will do that next time. Thanks.

Hughie that will be totally depressing if I only get a half zip off of each plant. Oh well I already have clones rooted for this winter , maybe I can do better next time?

My urkle is really starting to smell sweet. Almost like a Bogbubble I grew a few years ago.

Thanks for the tips guys

GCG don't trip if your urkles don't yield well this round. The herb is so damn good that whatever you get should put a smile on your face. :D

And now you know, if you want to yield with her you have to veg FOREVER!!! :yoinks:

Personally urkle was the first strain I ever grew that had litterally almost no stretch. You live you learn and most of all you keep growing dank herbs. :D

PS the longer you let her cure the danker she will get, but she will smoke good from the moment she is dry too. It will be hard (because she smokes so damn good as soon as she's dry), but put a jar away for 6 months and then break it out, you will not be disapointed. :joint:

hello freinds :joint:
hey hughie & nature sorry guys i must have rerad right by those replys you guys left....ya those the same ones ive been shoing for awhile now, i told you guys they just took off one morning and have not stoped yet.....and ohhh hell ya there water loveing MF for sure they will drink a gallon of phed water every two days, it around 80/86 degress in my room and they seem to be loving it......

i have some rockwool soaking in phed water, tomarrow I WILL attempt to take cutting from her....ummm i have to but i'm not going to mess with the smaller one to much, she will be for seed making purposes going to het her with some SDibl should be a bitchin cross for sure.....i will get a few shots of before and after :yoinks: hope i dont fuck up :yoinks: .....

Jaws good luck with the cutting and the cross too. That sounds like a real nice cross indeed, if you need some help growing *arg* testing those beans always a PM away. :D I want to do some crosses with urkle and trainwreck, but I don't want to slap just any old pollen on this bitch you know? The SD should be real nice tho. Tasty for sure. :joint:

humbolt, yeah they will stretch some but still 3 to 4 feet is not very much at all bro. If I veg a trainwreck 3 feet I will get a 10 foot monster :yoinks: Feel me?

I mean, say you veg this damn plant for 60 days and its 2 feet tall, you flip the thing and it finishes at 28" and doesn't yield that much.

Im not sayin she doesnt' do it up cuz she definately does it up. I have some urkle at 40 days right now as a matter of fact. Starting to go purple just the tops of the calyx at this point. Leaves are not purple except the margin. If I dropped night time temps 5 more degrees I would get solid purple everything. :D Colors don't really do it for me tho Im all about the smoke. Urkle happens to do very well in that ever so important category. :joint:

Me too... nice medium choice

Hughie, you make some very good points bro

For sure garlic you're gonna like the smoke.. you would have known that by now but it's only been, what, 3 months? :pointlaug

I was thinkin that when you put yours out in the gh they went from 24/0 to ?.. they may have got discombobulated on that and confused em some.. :chin: Maybe not but mine have always been under 24/0 and when I took cuttings a while back i didnt think about the light sched and had my cloner under 18/6 and they started to flower on me which stalled em. from then on I keep em 24/0 always til flowering.... not easy in when going outside though.

I wanna see you get em down and puttin out this winter bro :woohoo: My mother is your mother... well that didnt't sound how it was sposta sound but you know what I mean :yoinks: :moon: Even though I told you the taste of bullets will kill mites I will drink some with you and we'll have to party. I'm sure they won't do too bad for chasin patron shots :dueling:
