A guy I know had a package come UPS and it was the wrong driver.Small town.He knew something was up and closed the door and headed for the wood stove.The door came down as he chucked it in the fire.They charged him with the package, plus destroying evidence.He never had the time or the inclination to open it.

What is the point of this thread anyway? I think this is a random incident of someone not vacuum sealing the herb and an uptight snitch....or

the more probable is that this is all BS and the bust was part of an ongoing investigation into a stupid caregiver who regularly ships bud across state lines. Then they spin a yarn to scare people from mailing herb by scaring them into thinking morons like stoner thief, are going to narc them out etc..

The 20 grams caught my eye.He doesn't sell partial bags, and always weighs a couple grams over.Looks like 8-9 grams didn't make it to the evidence locker.

I never had any real knowledge of how the UPS and USPS worked these things and the actual UPS document really tells it like it is.

The Security and Outdoor grow forums are my favorite.

When OG was around I heard guys expound on the fact that shipping via some type of carrier was the best way to distribute with security.

Any comment pro or against this method for distributation if done correctly?

You all probably already know this, but a good way to vacuum without crushing your buds is to put em in a baggy with air in it.Then seal that baggy in the vacuum bag.It'll keep em perfect.The jars just need a dunk in a bleach solution, and change gloves when needed.Best to do it outside.If you house anything like mine,cross contamination is everyehere.Stay safe and smart.Hard to say a print on the inside isn't yours.

what about sending marijuana in different forms like as honey oil, hash or even in butter form? it just seems you always get caught sending marijuana but u never or rarely hear ( i haven't at all) about sending it in these other forms. do you think it's possible to send a honey oil as perfume, butter as butter, or a brick of hash as a fruitcake? lol

your idea makes me think about a cunning plan i struck upon a while back. why not take this brick of hash and seal it with plastic, then bake a cake around it? i know xray will give it away but wouldnt any cake with a filling look funny on the ray?

I would think the heat would melt the hash quite a bit. Might have a killer cake though!

I definitely remember that guy. He caught more shit than anyone on the whole site. He was always getting his arse chewed off. I bet he wished he had hidden his identity after all.

He did say to use plastic wrap around the stash. Totally surprised me because he kept saying he was going to do a thread on dogs and when he finally did I was blow away that Vacuumed was not the preferred way.

Hmm, well from what i know from people who have knowledge of this topic.

First off, no matter what, smells will permeate through the plastic, if you vacume seal/wrap in plastic the bud you wont be able to smell anything but slowly the smells seep through microscopic pores in the plastic and this is how dogs are able to smell the buds when their vacume sealed or even wrapped but the key is to do all the sealing on the day you ship the package.

this gives less time for the smells to start drifting through the layers. Make sure your packaged is wrapped several times however you decide to do it, and yeah of if you have a pretty good hiding place for it in the package itself all the better.

Also for the record, cause I noticed in another thread something about this, pepper, soap, bleach, peanut butter, coffee grounds will not throw off a k9. K9s smell in layers, so they'll smell each of the smells, in other words smell the coffee, smell the pepper, and then smell the marijuana.

Thats how a dog is able to sniff through a gas tank, through the gas, into a cylinder submerged in the gas that contains drugs. Especially once the smells have had time to come out.

PoppinFresh makes a good point, shipping eddibles, oil etc is very safe. You can empty out a bottle of normal cooking oil and put in the canna oil. Send it off with some brownies and a few other things for your college student and leave a nice thank you not from mom heh. and when do you ever hear of a brownie bust ?lol

put the damn shit in a mason jar and wash the outside of the jar.

for the weight of the shipping jar it would not be cost effective to ship just 20 grams (which is a weird number anyway...)
