Hiya bonecarver

It was seeing your coco grows and in particular a huge Mozambiquean sativa in a drinks cup that finally persuaded me to try coco for myself. Coming up for 2 years later I'm so glad I did and doubt I will ever use any other grow method again! So thanks for the inspiration and all you taught me by posting lots of helpful info!

that moxambiquean was nice - nut a bit too racy for me in the end :D i felt paranoid smoking it :D hehe

but that cut was an experience. in small coco cups it finished much more quicker than as a big plant.

great smoke really hehe :D

Gr8 thread...........
I am getting things ready for my next grow (couple months away) and would like some ideas, suggestions to help me make the right choices...
I will be growing in coco using the atami wilma pots on a drip feed and would like to know which nutes you suggest i go with and why. I would prefer a simple straightforward mix to one that has a bit of everything in, if you understand what i mean. By the way im in the UK if this helps with your suggestions. Many thx :joint:

hy guys,I need help.
I read this and the other coco thread, but I still have one question.
I have a HESI starter pack nutes, copy and paste this:
http://kanabis.org/Product.aspx?prod=119&cat=4

but I am not sure I can use the bloom busters,or fosfor +,and so on...
is it possible to grow in coco only with powerzime and supervit?
pls help the brother out,peace

ras i - you do need specific coco nutes for making things easier.

bloom boosters and PK etc work well - but for your first grow you can use just the coco nutes them self if you dont want to complicate things.

supervit is a aditive that can be usefull at times. powerzime i supose the same. but they wont make up for a proper coco nute.

Hi Coco Grower friends.:joint:

Here i have 2 of my cuties grown in coco(Bio Bizz Coco).

The strain is Jack Flash(selected phenotyp called Jaggen).

Blooming day 28 under 400w.

I use following nutes:

Atami/BCuzz Root/Bloom booster
Atami/BCuzz A/B
Atami/BCuzz PK 13/14
Hesi Supervit
Hesi PH- (N)

I also have Atami/BCuzz Zymes but i dont see any differenz with or without Zymes so i dont use it.:moon:

At the moment the Jack Flashs gets watered every 2 days with 5,8-6,0 PH, 1,4 EC A/B and 0,2 EC PK.

Supervit and bloom booster after indications.

Its my first coco grow and im realy suprised!:woohoo:

Realy easy to handle, the plants stay longer green and healthy as soil.

Hello coco growers, I was wondering if you'd help me conceptualize a small drip system and confirm a few things for me. I was intending on doing a drip drain to waste setup under 2 x 600w. I have 3.5'x6.5'x8' to work with. I was thinking 7 Botanicare 42"x8"x4" trays lined up with 3 plants in each in 2 gallon bags. One reservoir.. would 40 gallons do it? I want to feed once maybe twice a day with runoff. Would a 633gph pump be sufficient or should I go with a 1056gph. Should I just recirc? I will need more filtration in this case correct?

Let me know what you all think. Thanks for the help!

Cheers

i root my clones in rootriot cubes under a fluorescent light for about 2 to 3 weeks, then i transplant them into pure canna coco,in 4" pots and move them under a 250 cfl for about 2 to 3 weeks feeding canna a&b rhizotonic and bcuzz root stimulator and a touch of liquid seaweed ec 0.8 to 1.0 ph 5.5 to5.9 then i transplant into 6.5 litre pots using pure canna coco slowly lifting the ec to 1.2 ph as close to 5.8 as i can get for 2 to 3 weeks then into flower using a 600hps on a light rail 24 plants 3 rows 2" between pots 4" between rows keeping ph the same but lifting my ec to 1.6 slowly my main problem is how many branches do i have to keep on the plants as a lot of my lower buds are fluffy, i forgot to mention i grow in a box 2 metres long 1 metre wide and 4 foot tall hence the light rail and i only average about 12oz per crop which barely keeps us in smoke. i was thinking just leaving 4 branches and a main cola might help my yield. i use the box and put a plastic polycarbonate lid on in the winter as it gets very cold around here i keep day time temp around 23 to 28 celsius or 73 to 82 fahrenheit night time 17 to 19 celsius or 62 to 66 fahrenheit i water to 5% runoff using rain water i have a 4" inline fan bringing fresh air in and another one removing stale air plus two oscillating fans any info would greatly help thanx

Hi Jackiee, the dark room tent has done me good so far, I'd suggest a bigger sized tent for up in the attick maybe a bud box large if you have the space, also you can put a little oil radiator from argos in there to keep temps managable.

Here's some pics of the bud box range (not the same people who make the dark room tents)

rooster449 they sure look good you dont seem to need any advice by the look of the plants. but here goes keep ph 5.8 ec 1.2 climbing to about 1.6 over the next 2 weeks and keep temps around 23 to 25 centigrade and you should be looking ok
