Yumboldt,
pre 2005 sensi star, paradise seeds
belladona( makes some of the best full melt bubble... it turns out to be a reddish hash that's super bubbly. Paradise seeds
Herojuana
SOMA A+
Kali mist( pre 2000) ( before the line was reworked to increase yeild)
So hum private reserve of
Men do purps and purple urkle ( these are more popular but still not grown very much do to its low yeilds, same thing with the pre 98 Bubba)
Socal master lush
Old school late 80s early nineties super skunk
A strain that was known as 4 way but nothing like what you find online. It was I believe, a cross between (old school of affie x northern lights #5) x (arcata tw x
Super skunk). It was only around in the early to mid nineties and was so good one hit blew most peoples mind and made them sweat profuseyly and immediatly askimg where they can buy some followed by a nap. For me it was just up my ally being uber potent, was well balanced between indica and sativa so it didn't couch lock me tasted great( little pine ,lot of dank/skunk tones. You could have it inside a bag in a jar and it could still be smelled. Only came around once every few months (indoor) and was gone very fast. I was lucky enough to be on the list to get a qp,s every few months at top dollar about a g a quap and that was when prices were just starting to go up. no more than that so it was always head stash and they would never let a cut go. Then it disapeared and haven't heard or seen it since 98. Mmm

Blue cross
Pineapple tw
Sour grape BOG genetics
Sour bubble BOG genetics

Grew some the Viking (mentioned earlier in this thread) outdoors (@ 52N) last season (pics in my gallery), and really liked both phenos I got. I thought it was similar/on par with Taskenti from CBG although the Task beat it on yield. Both are great strains.

Other overlooked strains that I'd rate would be:

Blowfish (Dutch Flowers)
Maroc Inspiration (Derg Corra reproduction of old Blue Hemp stock)
Rombolt (Motarebel)

All did great for me outdoors, but the Maroc was especially mold resistant.

Yumbolt?? I got a pack... u talking recent sag work or older work?

Not sure but think the original yumbolt was Motas work (??)
Pretty sure the original Herijuana was which i still have and covet.
Cosmic nights = sensi star x with NL #2... think it was a quicky
that Mota d/c'd ( too early imo... ).. it rocked!!.. too bad I lost her

Alpine Seeds gear is very underrated. There OG Kush Lemon Larry is one of the best Kushes I ever tried, unfortunately I lost my cut. They are one of the last breeders carrying the Original Erdbeer clone (Swiss Strawberry). Erdbeer x Deep Chunk was amazing outdoors, copious resin and highly potent.

hey hugo, how was alpines lemon larry in regards to herms? I used to keep a nice lemon larry(not alpine), but it hermed too bad. I have a pack of alpines version...

Paraguay cohiba sativa

^ even kaiki ( Charlie Garcia) at cbg has commented how good it is yet hasn't released seed stock yet.

Paraguay choco chiba sativa

^ the two other experienced landrace growers I know that have run this strain love it. me too.

santa maria

^ maybe the most underused great strain I've come across. all it gets is great reviews and some of the planck hybrids are also highly respected and seldom run.

sm is only available from no mercy as far as I know. the planck cut is widely distributed ( according to several posts ) and eskobar holds it. there is a difference between planck and no mercy's santa maria imo. I went thru close to 15 santa maria's from nm and found some nice sativa dom. that I was so impressed with.

Hey bro, I started off with this strain, and when I brought it to market...it was literally ripped off my hands. Idiit also grows a lot of dank, if he's impressed, it's worth a shot imo.

It smells like Guava paste mixed with piff.

My only concern(which isn't really an issue) is how diverse the plant's structure is from one plant to the next.

But the end product all have the same tasty odor.

thanks for the nice comments. I grow out qute a few strains. this year outdoors I have 14 different strains. the no mercy santa maria is right now in my top 2 out of close to 100 strains I've run. I see her as breeding potential, not just puro.

she has an 1) long lasting intense high effects that is highly desired by me. she is 2) fast.3) good bag appeal ( frost, terps). 4)up sativa high effects. 5)good bud structure. 6) sport ( passes her attributes into her progeny, opposite of 'recessive'), 8) strong potency. I don't know how she will work out for me as a breeder but next year there will be several sm crosses to find out.

^^ wtf more could a breeder want? f****** grail on paper, great early appraisal results.

I would prefer to work with eskobar's planck but he has only released s1's once. missed the boat.

planck and no mercy sm have been around for a very long time; puro and in crosses. rave reviews. no one's really showcasing her in crosses, concentrating on the sativa dom. sm which is not as common as the heavily indica influenced sm phenos.. I plan several crosses next year for all kinds of interesting hybrids;

zamal/santa maria: add intensity, potency and bud structure to euphoric auto zamal and cross her into a psychoactive mangu carott zamal for earliness and bud structure and possible intensity.

Malawi gold/santa maria: bring in soa Malawi gold under a hot sun (early), add intensity to psychoactive and maybe get intense psychoactive high effects. mg is better brought in earlier under a hot sun than late nov./early dec. low, waning sun/lumens ( pure).

eskobar purple oaxacan ibl/santa maria: add intensity sativa high effects to up giggle weed that is purple

tsunami (Laotian/Bangladesh)/santa maria: reduce flowering time and add bud structure to tsunami. tsunami has to be fully mature before harvest and it comes in dec. need to bring her in earlier under hot sun for best results. both parents of tsunami reputed to have up to 8 hour high effects, very spiritual psychoactive high. very small 'calyx on a stick' buds.

santa maria or planck on paper is ideal in hybrids for earliness, bud structure, intense high effects without losing sativa high effects and good bag appeal ( terps, frost, bud structure). she is reputed to be a sport; passes on her desirable attributes into her progeny.

^ we got lots of enthusiasts breeding with highly recessive attributes. when running cuts it's not an issue, but when developing seed stock sport vs. recessive is huge. if you breed with recessive genetics the seed stock doesn't exhibit the desired attributes of the parents. :) what foolishness imo. use sports and the seeds produce plants that exhibit the desired attributes in far greater preponderance resulting in much higher satisfaction levels imo.

why isn't she being run more in poly sativa hybrids? only one way to find out......

Ive taken eskobar's blue santa to f3 but couldnt go further because the lack of good males then i ran out of seeds. It is my favorite high since the first time i ran the f1 and couldnt clone it. I introduced it to a party of everyday smokers last weekend and I am still hearing raves about it. It's got a clean happy social effect that is so rare. I dont think i will ever tire of it. I am going to cry the day all the clones fail.
