ok thansk for that, i was plannin on starting in plastic cups, ( the small party ones) are these big enuf for 3-4 weeks worth of root groth?

probably not .

I tend to use the 10oz styrene cups as there so bloody cheap for a box of 500 but you do have to be carefull of the plants rootbinding , especially with autos coz if they get bound they`ll runt .
Most standard strains/hybrids can go up to 12-16in in a 4-5in pot no problem & is what we have used if their going guerilla . I always pot up but it`s easy for me as most of my plants go into my home plot anyway .
With standard plants that have a tight but good rootball they soon take off once they are in the ground .

FBB = fish blood and bone. I read somewhere that rabbits dont like blood? Not sure if thatll work. but i am making cages for most my plants and maybe some fishing line perimeter aswell.

Yer ive heard wd40 can work, aswell as chilli / garlic in spray form. Not sure if ur suposed to spray the leaves with it or just around your plants?

The only 100% effective deterrant against rabbits is death or fencing , it`s always worth trying a tobasco/garlic/chille sauce sprayed close to the plants but weather will soon wash it away . If you can cut a load of 1in cubes/pieces of something like sponge & soak them in the sauce then spread them around the grow , creosote is no longer available but that done the job soaking conkers in it . Have a look at this link . http://www.primrose.co.uk/pest-control-c-24.html?src=directory

there is also a product made from dried Lion Dung pellets that are shit hot but it`s finding them , i know there available out there as iv`e seen news reports on it but cant find the stuff , will repel every mammal out there .
What sort of deer are causing your probs ? i have had years of damage from Muntjacs & to some degree fine garden wire stretched between iron rods has helped but then they eventually just jump over it . I have seen 3 of the bastards on the lawn this year . Last year i had 100% success with Irish Spring soap in little net bags wired on canes around 2ft of the ground , it done a proper job but reckon that Shield or Zest soap would do the same as the irish spring smells similar .
Someone on last years thread was going to try it but i can`t remember who it was & had no post as to wether it worked .

intresting. I thinks its muntjacks here. I noticed some intense rubbing on a small tree about 10feet away from my growsite. about 15 inchs long starting from 15 inches from the ground. That sound like muntjacks? Il def try hanging that soap then cheers

u can try buying the lion dung from your local zoo ??? they sell lion dung pellets on the net

It scares the shit out of deer , i remember on telly there was someone from the New Forest filming the deer in their garden & as soon as the sods got a whiff of these pellets by the rose bushes they were gone .
I think the main ingredient in most repellants is Ammonium Sulphate but coal tar oil will work as a drench on rabbits , last year i also sprinkled stale urine but have no idea how effective it was as the Irish Spring done it`s job .

salaam comrades,

its been a while since i last grew anything, esben sorted me out with some danish strains ( thanks bro) and i germinated a few seeds maybe a bit early, they are indoors and i take them out during the day and bring them indoors in the evenings and will leave them out permantley in mid may.. i sowed two of each and got all but one to germinate :)

will prolly germinate more later on in early may, i usually have around 15 to 20 females growing in the garden, so we shall see this season how many i will grow, maybe some in pots too....

strains are

hfh hp2
hfh edxdg
hfh green arnesuper07 wild one
super07 brown

Dill what is different with the "green arnesuper07 wild one" and the regular super 7?

Your line up sounds nice and early!
