Cvs sent me a bunch of stuff this past year. Think of starting some lemon Larry cookies. Also the 425 sounds like it could be a good one.

Early morning up and at em.

:freezing: well they upgraded us to winter storm alert...looks like they are calling for 1-3 inches here,i have my doubts about that much snow falling here...but you never know...
time to put the knobbies back on the surly...with the 2.3's on there i can just lower the tire pressure and even if it snows those big tires will grab just fine...wish i had picked up fenders now!

We're due for a bit of the white stuff today as well. Wind chill temps in the single digits.

That reminds me, I always had heard if you leave a hose running a bit it will not freeze. NOT true. The other night just as my last tank was filled the hose froze up. I suppose it just was not flowing fast enough as I didn't have the booster pump running.

Oh well the goal was to start December with 800 gallons and I'm set to do that.

With my calculations of 140 gallons a week for flower, 5 gallons a day per light, that gets me about 6 weeks. It will all depend on how much of that I get back in condensate as to how long I can go without a refill. I'm sure I can go 8 weeks hopefully 12 though. That would put me in March and the rainy season starting.

If I end up having to run hose from the kitchen sink to the barn in February, I'll be wishing I had got the 1000 gpd unit.

thats one bad thing about the workshop is no way to get water back there without building an addition onto the structure, its a solid slab underneath...at the very least i can run a cold water line back there and have a hose bib,for sure im getting all those fixed next spring, the landscaping will be mature enough that it will be better to soak it once a week during the dry spells, plus i want a hose for the veggie gardens next summer....could have dealt with many of the bugs with a good spraying of water....

My 1/4" ro feed & drain lines run 25' from the washer in the kitchen up to the attic ..... i'm NOT carrying 5 gallon jugs of water upstairs !!! its bad enough i gotta bring 5 gallon buckets of waste water down to the bathroom . i did the same thing at the last house .... ran the RO lines up to the second floor bedroom from the basement slop sink .

its nice having your water right where ya need it most

Hey Dan,

In your attic you must have some vent lines from your bathroom/kitchen which could become a drain with a little work? Just trying to save you from carrying those buckets.

i just look at it as another form of workout, carrying all those 5 gallon buckets all summer just gives me better grip strength on the handlebars and more ability to horse the surly around in the rough stuff...

It usually works inside of pipes but not hoses. Because the water is exposed I think.
Anyone who thinks that slow moving water wont freeze, just needs to look at one of those frozen waterfalls, giant icicles-on-the-side-of-a-cliff things. Even fast moving water will freeze if it gets cold enough. Ask unc, he lived in some cold ass places I think. :tumbleweed::eggnog:

And I dont think I would do well with automated watering. I have trouble keeping the at the proper moisture hand watering very careful and keeping a close eye. My temps swing from 60 to 86 daily, so shit is all fucked. Until I switch my room, I just gotta keep it in check. Im starting to see some ugly purple piteiole's though, and im pretty sure is the huge temp diff.

C8- ive always stayed away from the roots soil. I always see fungo gnats flying straight outta the bags. Have ypu had that problem?

I think its easier to keep a steady moisture level with it being automated .... than it is hand fed . for me it is anyways .... i hated hand feeding .... took forever & HAD to be here every day !!!
thats in coco where if ya over water its not as big of a deal as it is with soils . as long as the runoff is taken away & not let to sit . coco just seems to hold onto the right amount & lets the rest drain off :)

You lost me for a second. You said Kneelers, and I thought You were refering to Koolaid drinkers/worshipers of Obama and Big Government. The church of Hitler. The Bushes belong to the same church, as do the Bilderburgs.
