lol something like that dan i'm not sure either. So when your lights are off do you keep the same amount of air circ as you do when lights are on?. I have 2 that turn off for light out and 2 that are still running, Intake and exhasut are always runing.

Holy seedlings Dans!

Question: So since ive been exhausting back into the floor register, its been keeping the house a nice couple degrees warmer without running the heater, but at lights off the room my tent is in gets around 62-64.....my HI and Low on my temp gauge are showing 76MAX and 62MIN.

Is 62 too cold at lights off? should i throw a portable heater in the room to kick it up a few degrees?

That's not too cold twl.66-68 would be a bit better but no harm really in 62.

Do you run your exhaust at night? If so maybe cut it off at night.

I do run my exhaust at night only because its hooked up to my scrubber. If i didnt run it, my house would turn into a skunk farm for 12 hours a day

I was thinken of maybe pokin a hole in the ducting to let a little of the hotter air out into the room, but once lights are off thats pointless

Do you have an active intake or passive. Where is your intake air coming from?

Morning Brothers an Sisters of Dankness and spinning circles :gday:
dans the P13 f2s are looking good brother :good: I feel like a proud father looking at those babies ;)
I've been bed ridden for the last 4 days as my back went out on me whilst I was filling up the dog bath, no heavy lifting nothing, just standing there pouring shampoo in to the water and Bang there she blew. Haven't been able to look after my light dep or nothing
Might just have to harvest a bit early instead of letting them get ruined by re-vegging, if I can't get this back sorted out.

Good to see ya around b00m! Sorry to hear the fracked up back is still giving ya fits.

Hope everything else in the life of the b00m fam is doing okay despite the pain you're in.

I have a tent in a bedroom....its exhausting into the floor register which blows to rest of the house. Intake is passive and comes from the room in which the tent is in.

Well if you wanted to get a couple electric dampers and a Y fitting you could fix it up but that's probably getting a more complicated than you want with a tent.

I have no intake fans on now except for the 4 x 4 veg room . that intake is one of the filtered exhaust from the the flower room . but all my fans are on temp controlled fan speed controllers , so when lights go out & temps go down .... so does the fan speeds .

Thanx Man :)

I still say your best bet is to vent the exhaust out of the bedroom & draw your intake from the bedroom (2 6" hoses ) cuz the bedroom temps are the best temperature for an intake this time of year . the rooms in the house including the bedrooms are heated & kept at 68 to 70 degrees . if the exhaust is vented out of the room the heat from the lights will not effect the bedroom temps !!! get it ??? if you can't shut off the exhaust at lights off .... turn it down so the fan is barely running . thats where the temperature controlled fan speed controls come in handy .

but at lights off the room my tent is in gets around 62-64

where is your intake drawn from ??? if its the bedroom ... why is the bedroom so cold ??? keep it the same temp as the rest of the house .

Thanks for the info dans. Im hesitant about the window setup strictly because its facing a major street and i get people walking by it all the time...more of a security thing for me.

As for the bedroom being colder than the other ones.....its because im blowing into the floor register that normally brings in the warm air. Not only does this allow me to not blow out the window, it also adds a few degrees to the house....downside is that its utilizing the only floor vent in the room

then your only 3 options are a heater or turning down the exhaust fans to almost off when the lights are off .
or ... fuk it , run it as it is & hope it doesn't go below 60 @ lights off .

1 story house....3 rooms. Thinken of just getting a little heater to run for a couple hours during lights off. Should easily get the room/tent to 65
