edit: but seriously, i have found your posts UC informative. in particular, your post about flushing and how nutes stick in wicking mediums vs hydroton.

I use perlite as my medium, which i think is wicking, and definitely notice that the nutes seem to stick to it. I think thats a good thing, save $$$ on nutes.

I haven't been taking notes for this run and I think I should be!

I think I'm going to have to go over your threads and save the info in case something goes poof!

edit2: read your posts about avid. I'm stoned at the moment - i was freaked to think i may have used avid, but it turns out i usedxis imidacloprid, which according to wikipedia is safe for mammals, not so good for birds and bees though.

All 9 seedlings are doing well. They have all been getting a misting of Poland Spring water and nothing else. Poland Spring has a pH of 6.0. They will now get tap water from this point and be hand watered with full wateriings and not the sprayer / mister anymore. My tap water is 6.7 pH and is perfect for soil. It has a PPM of 040 (500 scale conversion). I always hand weigh my containers. The room is a little cold at 65 degrees F. It is the middle of Winter. The VEG lights on them are 4 x 55 Watt T5's. Love Poland Springs water, i hear some people are lucky enough to have it coming straight out of the tap........water is so bad here im investing in a RO machine.
As for the T5's i love them but have had 2 break on me now for no apparent reason, both times 2 of the bulb holders are not firing the bulbs up so im considering a different light (although i may give the T5 one more chance in case its me that fucked them.

I like poland spring too! My favorite water for drinking is Fiji but it has a high pH. This time I chose the Poland Spring. That sucks about your water but mine is also pretty bad. I got bad things that grow in my water but it doesnt seem to infect my soil but it kills my hydro so I use chlorine as a preventitive measure and its amazing. You probably use soil though so chlorine would be bad for your situation. I currently dont use RO but I will be in a few months as well as a UV sterilizer because Ill be swiching to well water. That sucks that you bought some bad T5's. Ive been using them for many years and never had any problems. I just bought 2 more 6 bulb T5 set ups last week. Good luck with your grow and seed projects! You guys seem really great!

Right-click the banner and click "Copy Image Location". Go to your sig editor page and right click the white board and click "Paste". Put the open sig tag at the beginning of the URL and the close sig tag at the end. Click preview to view before save.

You may have to save the banner in your journal in order to add it to your sig line. The sig tags make it permanent with every post as opposed to having to manually click or drag.

Thanks Disco! I had to drag the banner into my computer and then upload it from my computer to the signature section. Thanks for you help!

The seedligs are doing well. Im really excited about this project as time goes on. I cant wait to show you guys the room that these are going in to. I havent showed this room yet. Im really thinking that it is possible to find a cash crop within these seeds if I get the right pheno. Im hoping one of them is going to yield nice in the RDWC. Im hoping to find a new MOM that can compete with my ChemDD in terms of yield. There is a lot more time to wait until flowering. The suspence is kiling me.
