ULTIMATE SOIL MIX...(?)

Just what i was looking for. Some good potting soil for my herb. One question tho. Do i still have to feed my plant nutrients or will water alone be sufficient with this high quality soil?

The only soil I can find around here, especially this time of year was Master Nursery Gardeners Gold. I was looking for organic soil and hit every nursery within 20 miles.. I cant find anyone who has ever used it before so we will see.. It is as follows:

All natural rich blend of Fir bark fines, forest humus, sphagnum peat moss, perlite, worm castings chicken manure, bat guano, kelp meal and pH balanced to 6.5 with oyster shell and dolomites limes. For use in all indoor/outdoor potting containers and raised bed applications.

Do you have to add anything to the fox farm ocean forest soil, during the grow? I have always used MG pre ferted soil, with good results, and Never have to add anything for the entire grow, but want to try the ffos

I throw a little extra Perlite in there and thats it...And then its good to go....Check my Gallery...Everything in there was grown with foxfarm soil and Nutes.....~ograskal

add perlite, but do you add anything else during the entire grow? With MG pre ferted soil mix you don't, Is FFOF like that? if not what do you add?

FF will do on it's own for a couple weeks. While your getting the OF and LW, get some nutes too - it makes it more fun. and the increased yeild and health will pay for the investment.

I started out thinking FFOF was "Pricey" at about $24 a bag, now I can't afford not to use it.

Sunflower seed is loaded with good for MJ nutrients. Buy it in bulk, run it through a blender.
You can't add too much to the soil. Ya might even think about growing in just it!
