20/4 sounds nice and i think it might be where me giving it a go, you would think that the little girls will need to sleep at some point, cheers for that super conductor

another question i have is on nute mixing,
what is the rule on mixing up nutes in your resi and time left between adding next nute

i fill my resi and leave it for 24hours for the chlorine to escape.
Then next day i add my Canna A & B, Cannazym and Canna boost, when i do this how long should i leave it between adding each part of nutes,

is this important and if so for what reason.
cheers

I think it's cool to add at the same time as long as you don't mix them in the same container, I think that's because you get a heavy precipitate when you mix calcium and magnesium something like that. I change my res weekly but need to do daily topping up adjusting ec and ph etc.

btw grow Qs are probably best in the UK Growers thread ;) just realized this is the clone thread lol

indifferent - if you're struggling with insomnia, try and get hold of some Melatonin - it fixes me right up. You can buy it online (from abroad), or if you know anyone visiting the US, get 'em to bring back a big tub from a pharmacy - usually what I do! You might even be able to get it on scrip if you can convince the GP it's the best solution.

It's very, very safe, really helps you 'drop off' (though that's a short-lived phase after you neck it), and has the added bonus of resetting your body clock to the time you actually want to be at. I found it invaluable in reducing the incidence of cluster headaches at night, from every night to virtually zero. It rocks...;)

Hopefully this helps dispel any myth that it is not possible to breed off feminized seeds :D

i wonder if the name has any relevance to the area :)

Kentish is a region of rural Jamaica, the seeds came from there originally, got nowt to do with Kent in England.

That KC looks very nice doc, have you managed to get it to bush out? It's a bugger to get to branch, just wants to grow straight up with no branching. Yours has way fatter leaflets than mine, always interesting to see how genes express differently in different grow environments.

Phenotype = Genotype + Environment

as a rough rule of thumb. We have the same Genotype, but different Environments, hence we will see different Phenotypcal expressions, interesting to see how much they differ.

Those images are from a different garden,, (taken for EM to see) ,, that clone has been beefed with nutrients over coco and super-cropped to keep the height down. Our sibling clone isn't 1/10th of the size under low levels of light at the same age :canabis:

Yeah.. phenotypical expression is the result of environmental factors over the genotype. I've been trying to explain this to the misguided that call a specimen a "pheno" for at least the past 5 years now.. lol

Peace n good will :bandit:

what is the process for regrowing a plant that i have harvested. is it possible and will i get the same results

reveg it.
leave a couple lil buds when harvested an whack it on 24/0 light cycle, it should eventually start to reveg back an give you something to take a cut off of. might take a while tho.
grow out the cut into a mother an u have an exact copy of the plant you harvested there to take more cuts off an grow for as long as u want.

Hey DocLeaf the KC is looking like a real skicky icky I can't belive how big and sturdy the arms on it are this has all the charachteristics for quality early on as it roots well is vigarous, has a hard stem with RED phyllotaxy a good start nice expressions and tops and supercrops well

Yeah, we called it 'Creme' as it was the only 'flavour' we could all agree on! It is creamy, but also earthy, spicy, and sweet as well. To me, anyway, it has a distinct, dusty celery smell when growing, but that seems to fade somewhat on drying - it's really unique in my experience, anyway.

Those stems can get quite woody once flowering has begun, and don't like bending much - one of my friends said he accidentally snapped a branch recently, and the whole thing came off in a clean break, with no fibres dangling...

Preserved! Lovely.

The forward-facing leaflets is the other distinctive trait of this 'strain' - as the leaves get older, even the smallest leaflets gradually swing round to face the front - and the extra-deep central vein on the underside is quite special too - all the JLo (KC X MoFlo) phenos share this trait too, so I'm intrigued as to its function. The KC has a very woody, brittle stem that usually is solid, rather than hollow, so I'm wondering whether extra-deep leaf veins may in some way be a water-transport feature to compensate for a less efficient stem-system? At least if the stem is brittle, it suggest that it's definitely not a fibre-producing plant...;)
