Just realised that theres no genetic details for Psychosis So I'd like to suggest it as at least 75% SuperSkunk(Sensi) for 3 reason's:
First Reason= Taste it and smell it then taste pre '95 SuperSkunk you won't see a difference believe me! I have grown SS since year after it won cup and Psychosis(via Exodus,once removed) for 2 year's(smoked various comm psychosis as well,all same SS attributes).
Second I was told the same a few years ago by 60 year old lady grower that GAVE me cut who said that was what Exodus peeps thought as well!
Third is most growers I know(No mugs or Noobs) that have grown or smoked or crossed with it agree as it grows and mixes the same.....Does anyone else know any better if so please let me know as I'm sure they are one and the same and it was no 1 in 100 sport just a well selected,vigorous,Afghan-ish pheno.From a time when everyone had some SS or other. Any takers UK crew?

i have never smoked superskunk of the same quality (maybe i haven't smoked good enough quality/right pheno superskunk)
it does seem to have blue tendencies (purple on stem, blue hue to the buds) and some fruit to the taste.
it aparently came out of london so Londinium, you'd probably no better than me what was going round london back in the day.

Not quite Rick but a similar situation no doubt.The Cheese is a Skunk#1 Lucky dip from Sensi(Sam_S) and I'm suggesting that Psychosis 'could be' a SuperSkunk(Skunk#1xAfghan) from Sensi or close to it.
Psychosis is somewhat sickly sweeter smelling than Cheese and a more Indica buzz IMO.

Yeah it deffo has blue/grey hue's but so does my SS and many other strains when flowered late(9 weeks,same as I chop my psychosis when optimum 4 me) or in low temp's. I don't think Pscychosis is really a blue strain as I think it's too old to be a UK DJ.Short cross. My SS is fruity as hell just like the P so maybe SS is a little diff nowadays to the early stock's if people are smoking SS that isn't Fruity? it ain't what I've been growing since then. Any back up on Old fruity SS,anyone got some and wanna chip in?

great thread ..learning so much about the old skool flavours when i was a wee wipper snapper ...londinum..im from deep south and all them strains you mention ring bells....but i was only a toker then....the nlx5xhaze it think was first i grew wish i had her again....great work!

will be crossing my "biddys sister" male to my psychosis cut in the next few days.
kind of indecisive about leaving it long enough so there's plenty of flowers to pollinate,
but pollinating it early enough to have properly ripened seeds.
hopefully the resulting offspring should be more suitable for outside, renew the vigour of the psyco, whilst still keeping the strength and maybe making it more hashy.
maybe call it psyco-sister? is that corny or not?

last time i dedicated a whole plant to seeds.
this time i think i'll leave the tops sensi and just pollinate the bottom flowers.
anyone think this will take the energy away from the top buds.
the plants aren't to big, i only veg them for 2 weeks.

londinium i suppose the psyco could be an old pheno of superskunk,
i wasn't too keen on that idea because i've only ever had crap really sickly sweet super skunk which i haven't liked.
but i do like psyco, a lot.
but i suppose its like some skunk1 nowadays that i've tried and i've just though it was alright nothing special obviously not cheese or roadkill strength, kickass skunk1. so i suppose there must also be some oldskool pheno superskunk still about as cutting (maybe its psyco).
on this tip, has anyone out there got any really old seeds, older the better?
probably be some rare phenos in there.
i think its all about finding that amazing pheno and sticking with it, then the more it gets passed about, the more amazing the smoke, the more the plant will naturally get reproduced by people, and so the same plant lasts throughout the years.
maybe this is the new survival of the fittest (strongest, nicest) for cannabis in this country?
