I have only ever seen a few of Esbe's beans grown out, didnt impress to be truthfull, werent heavyweight enough,I normally manage triple figure grows outdoors and do ok.Its always nice to have something extra to experiment with however.
Watcha buddymate, thought I would chime in here, can I ask what you mean by not heavyweight eneough? not high yielding, strong, or airy buds?
For sheer brute strength his ggxdp is as good as anything I smoked outside, for big yield & sweet sativa stone tas/gg3xdp is excellent, almost mould free, as near to ideal for the UK climate. Tried everything from the dutch houses, & none comes close.
Cheese seems to do well crossed with early outdoor strains.
good luck.

yeh man,,,,esbe`s stuff is made for EU climate,,,,,,his goals will probbly be "FINISH with minimum mold".....

who cares about the weight, when your growing outdoor in the EU......finding plants Finished, without mold is good enough for me.....

im gona go outdoor next year,,,,ive been lookin a the weather every day since the 20th of april,,,,,ive even gone out at night with a hygrometer and infa red temp gun,,,,,,,,,id like to find a few good patches and grow many....i cant wait to see results

...This is the "supposed" Cheese sk1 seed in veg. Any evidence it is cheese yet? I am 1 week into 12/12.

They didnt yield much mate, loose buds,I have something that finishes on time and is dense, you can see pics in my gallery,so its all good  I have a load outdoors at the moment,I normally harvest on time with minimal mould issues.

Thanks EnglishRick. I got these from dr.greenthumbs. I have only popped one bean and this is what I got. I am so pumped to have these genetics because it is very hard to get those strains you guys have.

it actualy looks more like the Blues clone than the Cheese

??? Dont go gettin my hopes up. I have been reading this thread and am familiar with the berry profile of the blues. Never tried it but know it is a keeper.

i think you defo have some mexi ZigZag traits showing,,,,thats the key if you ask me....the stink will come from an Afghan recessive trait,,,,,watch out for the 8th week the afghan trait should be easly noticable then:)

good stuff!

Blues/Livers was reportedly born not far from where I live, in sheffield. Getting sick of it tbh as most dealerweed is it, but really poorly grown/dried.

Where the heck do you guys get your clones from? mates? my mates are all non growers except the one who is a dealer only concerned with profit..

Nobody I know passing out clones around here, only dealers selling them at £50 a pop which I ain't paying for a cut that could be anything if it lived.. but then I don't know many percy growers around here.

It was always a dream of mine to get a group of people together and trade clones of our best so that every one of the group gets an ultimate selection of genetics, maybe someday eh? nice thread, gave me some good memories of buds gone by :D

edit: Killer skunk is gooood stuff. I still miss some of the old school smokes though

Form a collective CaptainStoner, so that local growers can "come together and form an alliance",,, this is one of the best ways of securing a wide variety of genetics to play with ,, much of which involves encouraging other smokers to start homegrowing :canabis:

I've paid more than a tenner, but never 50. Depends what it is really. OG Kush is an absolute bastard to clone compared with, say Appalachia, or Blue Satellite which will both just root in a glass of water in a week.

I lose about a third to half of all the OGK clones I make due to the tip dying, and virtually none of anything else, so it's not me - but 21 days is average time for OGK, which is three times longer than the above. Plus it's much rarer and harder to grow, so I don't think it's that bad to expect a higher rate on some strains - it's still damn cheap compared to a few oz of finished bud...:)
