No problem.

The blues comes down on Sunday at nine weeks, so I'll post the harvest pics in here as well as the regular thread. Does look very 'Cheesy' in soil, though Cheese looks very 'bluesy' too - and they both look very much like the Mystery Strain (or Psychosis?)!

Either way, the buds are rock-hard - really, really hard - more than OG Kush for example, and can't be squeezed. Will cut glass when dry...:)

Has anyone smoked/grown the "Stilton" (Exodus own Cheese x Blueberry)?

I hadn't heard of it until a few days ago on here.. just curious whether the particularly lush bit of "Blue Cheese" I've been getting could be it..

Reports of smell/taste anyone? Cheers!

Yeah, there are marketed Blue Cheese seeds out there, but I've read about a different cross done further back, maybe on another UK thread. Just curious to know more really.

The blues is much sweeter than Cheese, and almost sickly - I prefer it to Cheese, but they're both a bit too similar to me. The Appalachia was gorgeous - very fruity/spicy - like a mix of OG Kush and SAGE. But the Blueberry #2, the 'bobbly' sativa pheno pictured is my current fave - not as strong-tasting, but fruity and perfumed at the same time - really delicious.

I'm smoking some just-dry test buds from mine now, and funnily enough, my mate brought some of his hydro-grown round tonight, as I'd thought mine wouldn't be dry enough in time - ironically, his was slightly damper after drying longer (usual plastic bag problem), but mine blows it out of the water for flavour and smell, even after four days drying. That's the soil/bat guano combo, without a doubt.

Incidentally, I pulled around 300 perfect seeds from that plant tonight - that's 'Bilberry', my new experimental cross with the Overflow (Mystery Strain X Flo) male. Hopefully much denser buds and higher yield will be the main improvement - there's not much else needs improving, to be honest. Should be fun taking that one forward...:)

nice pics elevatorman - how long do you flower your blueberry for?

--

been doing some research on cheese. from what i have read it is lightish on the nutes, requires a decent veg and will not compete very well with vigorous f1's etc.

anyone have any other tips for me? ill probably grow it organic scrog. how much does it stretch??

thanks guys.

Cheers folks - I'll try and get some Bilberrys started asap. As for the fluffy Blueberry, 9 weeks flowering in soil - could probably go ten if you were really picky, but it's pretty much finished.

Some blues extensions...

Some blues extensions...

Here you go folks - 'the blues', grown in soil, and harvested today at nine weeks exactly - stinking the place out now it's hanging up, which means sleeping with all the windows open and my Vaportek unit at full-strength - never again...:)
