I don't get any blueberries smell from the cheese either, it's more like a sweaty gym, musky smell, when your rub the trichs on the live plant you get this very weird fruit which is possibly slightly sour - the whole smell in a whole is powerful like a concentrate, the taste is prodominantly musky, skunky + a little fruity in the background, but the muskiness dominates the taste , there's so many fake cuts going about it's unreal, i'm confident the 1 i had was real going by the guys that blessed me with it, the smell is dangerous, wasn't safe for me to keep it around any longer

Hi Guys
still a killer thread-i only wish that i'd tried more of the strains listed.

As CMoon and JG (big up) have mentioned the B@klo kit here's a couple of pics of their Madsativa. It is the strongest smelling weed that i've ever grown-making the Exodus cut look like a low odour strain-the hit is v strong too-a bit like a wild party and i've seen seasoned smokers have panic attacks-crawl around on the floor-think that they are going loopy on it etc-
However i'm not sure that it would qualify as a major UK cut because, to my knowledge, not that many peeps have run it.
I think that it originated as bagseed over 10years ago.

The smell is totally chemical like a solvent with lemon notes

I like when i drive its like im in a fookin computer game lol some heavy stuff and they were skimpy joints!! i was afraid..some of the swtxpp were nice...and a few earlier cheese crosses they did..

Ive just sexed some dna kushberry x sk#1 that are specials and some cheese x nycd (soma male) by devils hyarvest..his got it being sold as we speak in grey area got 2 fems from the lot so be interesting to see how they fair!! what u working with at moment?

Lovelight-thats for the interest-i can't tell you much more about the origins of B@klo's Madsat-other than it came from bagseed in the mid 90s-wisely preserved by a growers collective up north. It came to me with the note 'the finest weed available to humanity'-and for me it is up there with the best sats-ie original haze-5times cut etc

Kalisnapple sounds like the shit-i've been running bog standard AK, Pot of Gold and #1 big style for the past year-thats why i've not been posting much. Now i scaled down and just germing some US genetics, Sour Diesel IBL and SSH F2s for the next run-

Verdant Green nice to see ya! I did a deep dreamy Bass heavy 10 minute mix of that track with J from beloved in a little studio in Kent I worked at for a year or so when I was about 18. I seem to remember I had to skin up for him as well...lol..Popstars eh! I've been trying to find a vinyl copy of the remix e.p. with our mix on it as I lost my copies ages back,no luck so far though as there were 3 remix 12's of it and mine was on the 3rd and final remix 12 on a limited(500?) release. It was great for me at the time because I knew that track a few months b4 it was released and was there at "Sunrise" at 6am when they first played it anywhere at a rave...It sounded like 100k of Pure Heaven....I'll never forget it!!! Pink and Yellow Cali's were out of this world JBo

yeah there were some great mixes of that going round as i remember. Jon still dj's on the scene (or at least he did a couple years ago) we always sent him our records.

there are few better buzzes than hearing your tune or mix go off in club or rave or get spun on the radio!

Ebay is pretty good for old 12's

Rick - I don't rate Cheese that highly anyway, so it wouldn't be hard for me to top it, but the blues is much sweeter-tasting, almost sickly. But I've never detected 'berry' smells in Cheese at all - more like old socks! I don't rate the blues much higher to be honest, but it's one the few strains that makes me tired, so it'll be handy for bedtime.

Sorry to be so down on all these 'exciting strains', but after 15-20 years, they are really not very exciting to me, and I'm trying to wean my friends off them, but with cash being their main goal, that will be difficult.

But there's definitely a 'family resemblance' between Cheese, blues, Mystery Strain, etc. and I'm reluctantly thinking it might be Skunk, though I've never actually seen Skunk like this - they're always fluffy, fruity and not dense at all. So maybe it is NL X BigBud after all...

all im sayin is:

when us lads first saw Cheese, we all whent crazy....ive been smokin for years and lived in Amsterdam in 00-01 ,an i never saw a skunk like that in the greenhouse or damkrink.....

blues takes the cake for me
