Taste definitely, but it's much more than that - his stuff is special. The quality of the high is the thing - difficult to describe in words, but they have a clarity that most other strains don't have, without being weak. And very cerebral, uplifting and social.

And I do like taste, but some strains I have aren't that hot on taste in my book (Kentish Creme for example), but have a scary potency that's hard to find - but both together is always preferred...:)

i love blues..that ............sickly...heavy...un containable...blueberry smell

more blue than blueberry....or atleast any blueberry ive had....

i know elevator man will laugh at that....

but its true.....its very blueberry...lol...

better than cheese[to my taste]...and thats a fact

both cheese and blues have a "empty head" type of highs...nothin to write home about

i love the way we have all understood cheese and now we can rate other strains in comparison...cheese is a wickid benchmark...now i actualy think blueberry could do the job...lol

Well typically, my only clone of that pheno has died, but my friend at 'the library' has a viable one he says - I'm going over Friday and will see how it looks - if it's big enough I'm grabbing a branch.

i have just got 2 Psychosis clones so will be real interested to see how yours do doc

also got some
kushberry
hundi kush
white russian

all in veg atm but should be in flower in a few weeks

was wondering if the pscychosis was the old nl haze clone from exodus, very tasty a kind of sweet aniseed so morish you just keep smoking it until your comatosed ... which isnt too long.. can get a bit freaky in the head after too much even for a 30 yr seasoned smoker like myself ( hence my wondering if it indeed the exodus pscychosis)..

i found sweet seeds sweet afghani delicious to be very similar in taste to the exodus nl haze but nowhere near the yield..

englishrick - this may amuse (or infuriate) you, but I managed to pick up a half-ounce each of the blues, my smelly one, and Cheese tonight from one of my hydro-grower friends - first time he's harvested all three simultaneously. And you know what? When put side-by-side, it's really difficult to tell them apart - they all look roughly the same, and smell roughly the same. Hydro does bland it out a little though, and they'd be more distinct in soil, definitely

On closer inspection, it's definitely possible to seperate them by smell, but not by much - if they were on some kind of mythical 'aroma' wheel, they would all be roughly in the same zone.

I also picked up the same amount of G13 (or the clone I was given years ago by that name - I think it's a G13 hybrid) - that is so different in smell and taste (grapefruit/lime flavour barley-sugar!) it really puts the others into perspective, and just how close they are. Not surprisingly, I've smoked a lot more of the last one tonight...on the Cheese now though, you'll be pleased to know...it's alright...:)

Shit, that's terrible - I get mine at £120 per oz max, although I do treat him with new strains all the time, so it's worth his while to keep me sweet...:)

The Cheese is actually the best of the three from his grow - again, the blues and smelly just become generic and indistinguishable grown quickly in hydro. Another female grower friend has just chopped some smelly, grown in soil, and she's bringing me a bit tomorrow - it's much sweeter and more fruity in soil, so should be nice.

The indica '98 Blueberry comes down in a day or two, with the sativa one about a week later - it'll need testing before I'm certain it's worth running again, but looks very tasty, and would be nice to get that one going as a replacement for 'the blues'...:)
