UK Cheese - Mandala Hashberry - Paradise Sensi Star

Hey m@rg, thanks.
Temps are good, not much of a swing between night and day - about 5 c. I'm suspecting the usual stuff - cal/mag. I'm going to add some next watering to one of them and see if it picks up a bit.

Yeah, they're stinkers allright.. When I did some lower branch trimming the other day the whole place reeked with cheese.. And I run two carbon filters in the grow room haha.

Look ma, I made some ISO...

Look ma, I made some ISO...

About an oz of cheese and hashberry sugarleafs and popcorn was shaken with some ISO for 30 secs and then strained. I'd allready dry sifted it previously.

Boiling away...

All done, time to scrape the plate...

Sticky sticky icky!

How was it? Mindblowing and very tasty. Clean clean hash taste.

the oil looks nice :D

try with cal-mag if you want - lot of growers get good results with that when their tap water is low on minerals..

Yeah Bone, it was very nice. Too good for me, I'm a light smoker nowadays.
Well, I've got swedish tap water. Tried to get info about the quality, it seems to not have much of anything in it - i.e. very clean water. No worries about chlorine, at least. But yes, I'm going to try to add some cal / mag and then we'll see.
Since the molasses contains sodium and sodium locks out phosphorus I think I might have a slight P deficiency too. I'll try to rectify it.

Yeah, I'm down again. Passed it on to a cancer patient in need of serious medication. Much appreciated :)

I'm such a lightweight these days, more than a couple of hits wipes me out, a blunt or a J with tobacco in it damn near kills me. I miss being able to roll and smoke a perfect J all by myself.

Today I did a partial harvest on one of my Cheese ladies. This one had a little too much popcorn on her so I hope they will fill up some more now that the tops have been removed.

metamorf,

Your Cheese and Hashberry look especially dank.

how long did you veg the clones and HB?

Did you top, train, scrog the clones to get that many bud sites?

Hey Tobaaaac, thanks

This plant will yield a lot less than I thought it would initially som I'm kinda unhappy. It will probably only yield like 2-3 oz. The other one looks a winner though :)

Hey Virgin, thanks

The staked cheese was lst:d and topped multiple times. About a month of veg from rooted clone. The tall cheese had a month of veg and got topped one time only, the rest is from trimming undergrowth and removing thin stemmed branches in veg.

The hashberries, dankety-dank it is. They were 12/12 from 6-inch seedlings and got repotted as they grew. Probably 10-11 weeks before I harvested them.

Okay, a couple shots of the setup...

The tent, a Secret Jardin DR120. One 600W in a cooltube, made a batwing and hung it over for better reflection. The tray I built myself from plywood and 1x1s and some pond liner.

The veg cab. Just an IKEA cab with the minumum of lighting. Got my mothers in there plus rooting cuts one level up.

Okay, update time again.

This is the SensiStar, about 6-7 weeks perhaps? I don't know. She's fattening up properly now so within a couple of weeks it's flush time.

A shot of the canopy, she's big!

A little bud porn

This is a White Rhino, about 5 weeks it looks like. Going to fatten up a lot more during the next couple of weeks.

A little whiteness from the Rhino :)

After last weeks flush they are all now on canna a+b at ec 1.3. I nuke my water with equal parts calcium and magnesium from 0.18 to 0.43 ec and then add my nutes. pH is 5.9

Today I got my predatory mites, 20-something thousand of them. Bye bye gnats. I also received a new biological product against powdery mildew that I'm trying on a couple of plants. It's supposed to add silica to the plant and also cover it with vegetable fats of a rare kind that kills the mildew. We'll see....

Yeah, Hypoapsis mites. Supposed to eat all kinds of larvae and small insects in the soil. Cheap too, about 10 euro.

Well the nutes go like this: 15 ml a + 15 ml b + 3 ml canna mag + 3 ml canna cal + 10 ml canna boost for 10 liters... it rounds out to about ec 1.3

Ideally I'd like to see the plants grow with that tiny burnt tip and nothing more cause that would show when they are at the max nute strength but it's hard with multiple strains. The Rhino alone I could grow like that but the other ladies I'm not really that intimate with yet :)

well, whaddya know? it's time for another update.
i did a major flush of all of 'em today as they're starting to display some odd looking leaves. They also appear a little stunted so I flushed through all of them and did the last 10 l with beneficials and some vitamins, we'll see what it does for them.

Here's a couple of snaps:

Cheese semi-tree. Properly staked. Quite a heavy feeder.

Cheese bud

Sensi Star looking fucked up.

Well hey, at least there are some trichs growing.

I don't seem to be getting my nutes and the coco to play nice together this grow. Ah well. The SWC is definately doing better but only 250W there so we'll see how the yield turns out in there.

And people, thanks for watching and commenting :)

its got an easy remedy :D believe me - i speak from experience :D

just skip using any boosters and etc untill you learn to know a strain better. often a plant that doesnt get burnt actually yeilds more. its really not a good idea to think its beneficial to get nute burn. aim for as healthy plants as possible - it does pay off. you will in the long run see healthy plants yeild the best smoke and get higher yields. its all a question of ballance.

peace
