I cannot remember any specific environmental thing that made it do this, I does not normally, for me, but do remember other peoples Cheese pix years ago looking like that .. Doing the cornrow thing, and me wondering

Looking at photos in the first couple of pages in this thread, you can see that trait, but it has not quite gone out to separate cornrows, but you can see it stacks calyxs in that fashion... Has anybody got a good idea when or why Cheese does this more or less than other times ?

She has P issues, especially in the cold, maybe she needs more PK boost and grows "weedier" if not given what she wants ? No real idea, just grabbing at likely straws

I rarely get it in soil, it's almost impossible it's a sign of beasted cheese, the corn roll bits i'm on about don't smoke well.. Lack the resin of the buds..

I think it's how it goes on hydro as Rick made it happen and so has Leptosoma.. They use more light and more feed then I do..

I'd rather grow buds and not whisp you see.. That corn thing isn't a good trait..

Foxtails...check, double serration.....check
:good:

Point is, she did not do the foxtail thing for me before, this Phenotype, run in my friends beachside garden, decided to put out the fluffy foxtails all of a sudden, after many crops of the same clone looking "normal"

Posting this again here as its relivent

Posting this again here as its relivent

There was a post on ***** (i think) many years ago from the guy who the Cheese clone came from (the person who actually popped the seed and took the cuts and passed them to Exodus). He confirmed that a cross had been made with his cut called "Back to Cheese" which anyone familiar with Brightside will know was his cross made using strain from KC Brains. The Brightside cut is the real deal original and i have no doubt about it, i picked her up a long time ago and she in unmistakably an old cut that has woody stems just like the Triangle Kush and some other old (20+ year clones). Also as stated she does grow outwards and takes some support to keep up the buds when she gets to week 5.

What did he do to get it to do that?

Feed it right and get the lamp just right?

The cheese I have does that but it also does the other swelling bit were it claws out of itself not vertically but horizontal and they swell in clusters..

Environmental conditions do it ;)

I think in the carp bait story the Sp and the NL are Psycho and Blues.

Where's the CxNL come into it..

That isn't back to cheese isn't it?

Nothing notably different to before, extracts flat air into grow, out, so temps and RH do vary according to the environment, but not much. Feed, same as always, no new additives, no other changes, but yes, environmental differences are surely the cause.

It has been said before, but is worth repeating, Cheese likes a spell in the Sun, seems to bring her back to full health nicely.

I remember when I was in Dorset I was gifted a cheese cut ( I never really liked cheese but I just wanted something more Indica than my Neville's Haze ). I remember it was only a very small plant and my whole house would reek as soon as I entered. No filters. It was growing along 30 big neville's haze plants and I decided to chop the Cheese very early because of the smell... The smell problem disappeared the moment I removed the small cheese plant.

Yes Cheese is ridiculous when it comes to how strong it smells but for me is only a problem and the high is good ( general good skunk high ) but nothing incredible, can't compare to the good Haze crosses for example. I will always remember having to change carriage every stop in the London Underground because how strong the double ziplocked cheese reeked.... I guess it's a good strain if you want to sell or impress people or you like the cheese taste. I never grew it again and I never looked back :p

Long time no see bro..where you been. .??..what's your best nowadays still rocking shantis prize stuff?

@mate dave...C x nl was done by a guy named jack.
He was on here (ic)
Nirvana Northern lights male to cheese.
Good plant, bit leafy if not grown well.

Check of the hills pics, it should chunk and corn up at the ends.
Hydro can yield massive when you dial her in.
2lbs a plant easy. Already been done, pics out there.

Beasted cheese, lol.

This is not true. I have had amazing cheese, soil grown
Environment and dialing in are key in any strain.

No resin is down to grow conditions and cutting too early.

Exo/Brightiside/suicide/psychosis/nelly/blue cheese comparison

Exo/Brightiside/suicide/psychosis/nelly/blue cheese comparison

Hi all

Got a load of different clone only cheese type cuts I'm running in a room together..Like you lot I wanted to know if the exodus and brightside are one and the same, we will see!

Bit lame really, check my cheese album out if you wanna see them all in order..

There is 4 plants per tray, 4x glue, 1x exodus & 3x brightside,3x Blue cheese & 1x nelly, 3x psychosis & 1x suicide cheese.

I will put different color stickers on the tops of the bamboos in each pot so people can identify the different strains..

Should I start a separate thread or just post it all here?

Peace

S.S
