Trying to make a mix for seedlings.. help please:)

Hi everyone.. I have a project grow coming up that I'll be attempting to breed/clone from etc to get my own cuts/seeds from... and I was wondering if anyone could help me mix this up for seedlings..

I have some
BioBizz Premix Fertlizier 3-3-5 says use 2-5% (2.5-6cups per cubic foot) - Brown Seaweed,Composted Chicken Manure,Green Kelp,Molasses,Soybean Meal,Pre-Fermented Soy Extracts, and Vinass-Kali Extract
Coco Coir
Hydroton (Can use this instead of perlite I'm guessing)
What would be the best mix ratio Coco/Hydroton for a wick system, 50/50?
Since this is a project grow the area is small and nothing is being grown for yield.. I'm actually looking for tips on keeping them as small as I can for this first try.. I just want 1 center cola each if I can.
Area is about 2ftx1.5ft
Lights will be t5 2ft fixture fullspectrum
Feeding with simple gravity fed wick tubes..
Going to make a simple wick system and then use the tubes for other test grows.

Going to try and start 12+ seedlings off on 12/12 ... *numbers will be less if I can harvest my Mendo Purple IBL for pollen(I don't know when to check for pollen in the sacs). I have Hindu Kush and Blueberry that I'll be trying to get a few males for pollen also... I'll be pollinating my fem Arjan's Haze plants. Then test grow those seeds while keeping clones to see how my project went. Gonna hit the Haze females with Purple,Blue, and Hindu.. I also have some PPP and God Bud males.. but like I said before Im not sure when to harvest pollen yet heh. Still trying to read up on it.

The amount the premix says is ok for seedlings?
And once I mix this.. any feedings further down in veg or flower would be 1/4 str right??

I'm going to germ the seeds in root plugs diped in a rooting mix.. and once they've rooted I was going to transplant them into my soil mix. Sound ok?

I'm 100% sure I'll grow out atleast 1 Arjan's Haze straight so I can have for myself to try so I'll have 1 moved to my grow area.. it'll probably be a 12/12 test seed but I read that since haze flowers for so long you can start it from 12/12 with decent results. I know all this depends on grower skills.. I'm new and I like to learn through experience however:)

Let me first try to hit the high points here...

Don't use any fertilizer or nutrients until the seedlings are at least two weeks old. The plant is being fed by the food in the first two round leaves that appear on the bottom of the stalk. Nutes are fine however on rooted clones.

Coco Coir can't be used alone for a grow medium in an organic soiless grow. You'll need compost or worm castings along with powdered dolomite lime and perlite. Hydroton clay balls won't provide the drainage you need because they are too course to let the excess water drain away from the roots. Get some perlite.

Using a "wick system" with organic nutes would be iffy at best. The supply pot would have to be bubbled continuously and I'm not sure what would happen along the wick to the microheard. Or even if the nutes would travel consistently through it.

Yes, you can start seeds under 12/12 light. I've done it. But I doubt if you'll have enough room in a 2 ft. X 1.5 ft. grow area for more than one Sativa. And Haze plants can be very tricky to grow even for experienced growers. They need very specific nute doses and constant monitoring. You may do much better with an Indica dominant strain until you get your method down.

Here is a suggestion and just my opinion...

Check out the "STICKY" at the top of this forum called "Organics for Beginners" and pick the recipe for the soiless mix using coir. And be VERY sure you wash the coir to get rid of the high salt content that is usually present in coir. Those salts have ruined many a coir grower and they never knew why. Better yet, use peat. It's cheap and available almost anywhere.

Let me know if you have any questions and good luck with your grow.

I value learning through experience. Difficulty doesn't scare me otherwise I wouldn't be doing this little illegal hobby. If this project is successful my area will have some stuff that is only brung in and up charged like 1.5-2x.

I know a couple I can pass the cuts out too and I'll pretty much trade seeds if not give em for free... I'm very generous :)

Thanks for the goodluck also I know I'll need it messing with Haze heh..
I have a few Mexican Bag Sativas running.. and I see how sensitive they are to nutes/def(they like to be feed perfect and not touched). It'll be tricky but a great expience that should help out all my future grows.
