Trump thread part 2 (Or anything else we want to talk about that's ridiculous in politics today)

Kind of hard to cry about pardons when orange man gave Steve Bannon one for stealing your border wall donations.

Republicans love stealing from charity.

All politicians and their appendages are okay with stealing. It's a defining characteristic of any political system.

Also, because I know Hunter Biden is a scumbag, doesn't mean I'm interested in defending every action Trump makes. He's done some things that I don't care for.

Donations to government borders? Sigh. Nope not me, I don't believe in supporting political gang turf, most of it is not justly acquired property and should be put to better use than allowing political gangs to decide what will happen with it. :)

Nice try diddy. Wrong again. View attachment 19175413
You clearly don't understand what profitablity means. When your source says it may contain inaccuracies you should really pay attention to that. Musk bought Twitter for 44 Billion after last year it was only worth about 9.4 billion or about one fifth of what he paid for Twitter. His 8 largest investors have lots a bit over 24 billion conbined. When your company is worth about 80% less then what you paid for it and your biggest investors are losing money rather then making money, you're operating in the red. You can make a profit in one year compared to previous years but it still doesn't put you in the black if the value of your company is less then what you paid for it.

Dei programs have quota goals. If you need 10 employees of a certain group and you have 7 qualified candidates, what do you do? Lower standards.
The quotas are for the entire company not just the open positions. Aiso snce they are goals that implies it's something you achieve over time and not all at once. Now the length of time to achieve those goals probably varies from one organization to another and so for all you know the goal might not be expected to be met for years. To illustrate what I mean the Paris Climate Accord set carbon reduction goals for the countries particiapating that go well into the future, the earliest one I've heard of is 2030 or 2035 (I'm not sure which). Even with those set dates it's not a guarentee the goals will be met by that time. If not I think all that happens is a fine.

No company of any worth or respect for what they do is going to hire someone not qualified to do the job. They will however hire some one that is qualified and also a DEI candidate over someone who is qualified but not a DEI candidate, if they have not yet reached their goal.

One of Trump's "spiritual advisors"

Kenneth Copeland Says Jesus Has a Special Punishment Waiting For Those Who Didn't Vote For Trump

1. Financial Transparency & Tax Exemption Scandal (2007-2011)

  • In 2007, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley launched a financial investigation into six televangelists, including Copeland.
  • The inquiry questioned whether these ministries were improperly using tax-exempt donations for personal gain.
  • Copeland refused to cooperate, and the investigation ended in 2011 without formal charges.
  • Critics argue his ministry avoided scrutiny by refusing to release financial records.

2. Private Jets & Lavish Lifestyle

  • Copeland owns multiple private jets, including a Gulfstream V, reportedly worth millions of dollars.
  • He once said commercial flights are full of "demons" and justified private jets as essential for ministry work.
  • In 2018, Inside Edition confronted him about his extravagant spending, and his defensive response went viral.
  • In 2021, his ministry purchased a private airport and hangar from Tyler Perry.

3. Prosperity Gospel & Exploitation Claims

  • Copeland preaches the Prosperity Gospel, which teaches that financial success is tied to faith and tithing.
  • Critics claim he exploits followers by pressuring them to donate money with promises of wealth and health in return.
  • He has been accused of using church donations for luxurious personal expenses.

4. COVID-19 Pandemic Controversies (2020-2021)

  • False Healing Claims:
    • In March 2020, Copeland declared COVID-19 defeated, claiming to have destroyed the virus by blowing air on TV.
    • In April 2020, he claimed God told him that the pandemic was over.
    • Urged followers to rely on faith healing instead of medicine.
  • Tithing Demands During Financial Hardship:
    • Told followers to continue tithing, even if they lost jobs or faced financial struggles.
  • Vaccine Opposition:
    • Spoke against the COVID-19 vaccine, calling it an unholy attempt to control people.

5. Faith Healing & Medical Neglect Criticism

  • Promotes faith healing and has suggested that medical treatment is unnecessary for true believers.
  • Critics argue this has led followers to avoid medical care, risking their health and lives.

6. 2020 U.S. Election Mockery & Political Involvement

  • Copeland is a strong supporter of Donald Trump.
  • After the 2020 election, he mocked Joe Biden’s victory by maniacally laughing for nearly a minute on stage. The video went viral.
  • Has claimed divine intervention in politics and prophesied Trump's victory.

7. IRS Tax Evasion Allegations

  • Copeland has faced accusations of tax evasion due to the church’s tax-exempt status.
  • His ministry owns a mansion, luxury cars, and a private airport, raising questions about personal vs. ministry expenses.

8. Questionable Fundraising Practices

  • Accused of pressuring followers into large donations, sometimes implying they would be blessed financially in return.
  • Some former followers claim they were manipulated into giving beyond their means.

Despite these scandals, Copeland remains one of the wealthiest televangelists, with a net worth estimated at over $750 million. His ministry continues to operate globally, with a loyal following.

Swiss. From the Italian part of Switzerland. Bit darker.

Dude let’s get real : white is not just the desirable color of the Republican Party. It is the desirable color of the Democratic Party too. Playing the race card like that is ridiculous. Really reaching. Pretending the democrats are the all inclusive party anymore than the republicans is just stupid.

You know where else prefers white skin? Europe. Australia. New Zealand. Canada. Russia. Parts of Africa. Even Latin America prefers light skin. Everywhere that was colonized by whites. It’s not like just the USA is a unique bunch of racist. It’s no more racist than anywhere else.

Guilt and shame is a weapon used on people to control them. We’re all prejudice. We all have biases. That’s how it is. Group hugs are useful only up to a point.

* I see myself as golden. White with a permanent tan. The color of my land. No guilt or shame. I accept myself for what I am. Grounded.

Never mind I know….the next news cycle is hitting. In another month there will present itself a whole other wave of despair and fear and loathing and anxiety and panic and sky falling and social security failing (no really…literally in the social sense)

Crazy
I never said America is the only country that prefers whites, in fact I never said America prefers whites. What said is the Trump and the MAGAs prefer whites. This has been well documented over the years and why the MAGA movement is so popular with the White Supremists crowd. I'll not bother digging up the various posts and stories out there on the internet that support this but it is true. Also before you misconstrue that I'm not saying all MAGAs are like that since it's also well documented that there are a number of different ethnicities that are involved with the MAGA movement.

The fact of the matter is that when Trump talks about deporrting peoplehe is mostly talking about people from countries where the population is mainly seen as being brown or dark skinned people. I don't know if you remember acouple of years back when Trump was talking about what he called "shit hole countries" but during that same tim h also talked about wanting more immigrants from placs like Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, etc. You know countries predominently known for white populations. Of course the real truth is that Trump himself doesn't really care so much about skin color as his followers think. He mainly cares about the color of their money or more precisely the amount of it. Which is why lately he's been talking about selling a card that givs people full access and citizenship to th US for the low pric of % Million per card.

Another one of Donny's "spiritual advisors".

James MacDonald, former senior pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel in Illinois and a member of Trump's evangelical advisory board, was fired in 2019 amid allegations of bullying, sexual harassment, and financial misconduct. He was also accused of making inappropriate comments and soliciting a hitman. In March 2023, MacDonald was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman in a parking lot.

It doesn’t work.

Only if you make the wrong assumption that DEI only applies to minorities. DEI can mean minorities, women, disabled and members of the LGBTQ community. If the numbers of any of those groups increases after implimenting a DEI policy then the policy worked. Th guy in your video seem to mainly be arguing DEI a it applies to white vs black but in the same studies where he said the studies showed it didn't help black men much he did also say the same studies helped white women.
