Let me re-address this in a less crass way. Just because I feel that the blatantly ignorant and racist non-sequitur post you made was retarded doesn't mean I blindly support whatever political ideology sits opposite you. This right here illustrates all too well what the problem with political discussion is these days. It has become ego based, it's an us vs. them mentality, my team vs yours. There is no room for discourse any longer, no room for empathy. And I do not see this as a 'right wing' thing only, it's clearly happening on both sides and it's not because one side is dumber than the other. I feel it's because those 'sides' have figured out how to stroke your ego with their policies and words, it's an age old game that has been used to manipulate man since we could talk. Pimps and hustlers have been doing this forever and now the 'representatives of the people' have become nothing but high rent pimps and hustlers and those who shout their masters opinions the loudest are just the bottom bitch. Until we remove ego and emotion from politics, this will never change.

Well yes and no, sure it's a shame that some of the smaller fish are escaping justice by getting an immunity deal for something they likely knew was illegal from the start. However if it results in justice being served on the people who were responsble for initiating the crime and that leads to others thinking twice before considering something similar in the future, then that's a win for society in my book.
