And rightfully they were, my wife died from the corona virus while being hospitalized in a sealed ICU room where she was placed to recover from a surgery she underwent during the pandemic. She wasn't allowed visitors and nobody was allowed to enter the room without first having to put on protective gear. Unfortunately for my wife she had a nurse at one point who caught the virus but instead of staying at home until she recovered as was the hospital's policy she came into work because she need the money and could afford to be sick. Had she been forced to take the vaccination or fired if she didn't my wife would likely still be alive today. So if you're expecting me to have any sympathy for people that only think of their own wants and needs without regards for how it might impact others they come into contact with, then you're barking up the wrong tree.

Meanwhile the vaccine has never prevented transmission. I can understand your anger but it’s clearly misplaced.
You also contradicted yourself but I understand why.

If Biden wre abl to set prices on what meat packers produced and distributed then that would me the government owns the business, which just isn't the case in a capitalist society. What Biden or any President controls is how the laws that Congress estabilishes are enforced. Didn't they teach civics where you went to school?

The President is both the head of state and head of government of the United States of America, as well as Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. Under Article II of the Constitution, the President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of laws created by Congress.

So the secretary of agriculture that the president appoints might as well not have a job? Or does his regulatory environment affect prices?

My aunt died of Covid because her and her son were convinced that all covid treatments except ivermectin were secretly made up to kill people. She would not go to the hospital.

My wife was hospitalized because of 2 conditions that put her at high risk. After 12 hours of monoclonal antibodies and some treatment they developed at the hospital she worked at, she was fine.

None of this makes the vaccine work well. A real vaccine brings the chances of catching a disease and passing it on to almost zero. The Covid vax is prophylactic treatment. It helps at risk people not die. But it doesn’t do much as far as preventing transmission.

You know what struck me as odd. After getting positive feedback about monoclonal antibodies, for some reason they became less available lol.
I never got to try them when I had it. Luckily I didn’t get too sick but I did get some of the weird smell and taste sensations for about a month. I was scared it was going to be permanent 🤣

over half of accounted for inflation since 2020 is just companies raising their prices without repurcussion
of course this gets ignored like crazy, even though it hits the nail on the head... ppl don't wanna hear about class warfare, they wanna blame immigrants or trans people, or young petulant protestors or whatever the latest trendy scapegoat is...

My son and I weren’t very sick either.

Funny thing. I couldn’t even smell deathstar for months after. For at least a month I couldn’t smell bleach.

With inflation wages rise with prices. What we have is a huge cost of living increase.

Nobody talk about class. It’s all about immutable characteristics.

is the comma supposed to be there? are you really saying wages rise with prices?

cause the reality does not match that ideal situation. not by a long shot.
With pure inflation wages rise with prices. They lag behind (of course) but they equal out.

With rising cost of living and price gouging (due to non competitive markets) prices go up and wages go nowhere.

ohhhhhhh hell no mofo (it's a term of endearment), citation needed on this bold claim!!!!

This is the old definition. They changed the word immunity to protection in 2021. Look it up.

They changed the wording and immediately the press jumped on to say “it’s really the same thing, no big deal, if you think the definition is different you’re a vax denier.”

the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.”

This is one of the new definitions from Websters. No way this definition is very old, sounds made up.

“: a preparation of genetic material (such as a strand of synthesized messenger RNA) that is used by the cells of the body to produce an antigenic substance (such as a fragment of virus spike protein)”

The "wages" of the people that print the money and their friends that benefit from inflated currency go up when prices rise. ;)

That's an underlying root cause of "rising prices", forever wars and much other fuckery.

It’s fractional reserve banking. The theory is that moderate inflation 2-3% is “good”. It discourages saving and incentivizes investment.

Leave your money sit, and it gets worth less and less. They want as much investment as possible.

You used to have a savings account that paid 6-7% interest. Now it’s a 401k.
