Good Thing Biden isn't counting on picking up Haley supporters to win the election. The only thing Biden needs to win is for Trump to be the nominee.Doesn't look like that will win Biden the vote though...

That's an actual concern of mine - what happens if Trump isn't the nominee?
And of course another question no one can really answer - what happens if Trump secures the nomination and then is convicted and jailed? What happens if either Biden or Trump secures the nomination and one or both dies? Which is a distinct possibility. (Both dying would probably be the best thing to happen imo.)

I hope you're right, but that seems like the same magical thinking that won him the last presidency. The fact he still has any traction is concerning.
As they say "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste and decency of the American public."
I'm less concerned if it's Haley is the nominee, I don't think she'll win over Biden but if she did win som how I don't think she would be as bad as say DeSantis. If DeSantis won and took advantage of the 2025 Agenda/Plan he could actually end up being worse then Trump if that's even possible.
As far as if Trump wins the nomination and is then convicted/jailed he's already said he would continue to run since there is nothing in the constitution that says he can't run from jail/prison I doubt he would win from there though. As long as there is any way he can run i figure he will because it's the only way he can avoid/get out of jail.
If both Biden and Trump become the nominees and one dies I imagine then it depends on which one dies. If they both die before the election that would be interesting. I doubt it would mean that it would just automatically revert to the VP's to run against each other. Technically Harris would become the incumbent because she would take over for Biden but i doubt it would automatically give her the next term. i imagine there would be some sort of special election situation to give both parties the opportunity to nominate someone else. Since it's never happened before there is no precedent for it which is what makes it interesting.
there is an old Yiddish saying (curse?) "may you live in interesting times." i'd like to see a decade or so of Eisenhower era dullness myself...
Magical thinking that one him the last Presidency? There was no magical thinking there was just more people that didn't want Trump then those who did want Trump. if anything this time around there are even less people who want Trump which is why i'm fairly confident Biden will win. There will be many who won't be happy about having to pick Biden over Trump but really Biden hasn't done that bad of a job so it's not going to require any magic anything. He'll do his 2nd term and hopefully the younger voters will make sure some good choices rise to the top for 2028.

SOMEONE at the defense table had better, his lawyers aint got a clue! "who IS this guy in a robe that keeps telling me to shut up and sit down? does he think he's the judge or something?"
I doubt he's expecting that but hell with the way he and his supporters think i could be wrong. No he's just looking for something to help paint the picture of how bias the judge is and how much he's being treated so unfairly and also something he can continue his grift off of.

i'm sorry, but i'm confused. just the other day, Chumply dissed the judge at one of his trials (not sure which, too many for me to keep up with) because he wouldn't pause the trial so he could go to his MILs funeral. then, he goes to the funeral anyway. if he wasn't required to be at the trial, why was he bitching that he didn't get a delay? was he afraid of missing out on a photo op ? maybe getting tossed for contempt of court ? no publicity for going to your MILs funeral, lots of men don't.
