Grow update:

Today marks the end of week 3. Plants really started stretching during week 2. Some plants started to show nutrient burn at the beginning of week 3. During that time I was running 2.1 EC. I have dialed EC back to 1.6 and everything seems to be happy there. This next week (week 4) we will be dropping roots excelurator, amino treatment and multi zen but we will introduce bud xl. Based off of what I’ve seen, I plan on keeping my EC around 1.5 for the remainder of this grow. It should be noted that I am only watering once a day an hour after lights on which allows my media to dry back creating a higher EC in the medium.

Grow Update:

We are beginning Week 6 now. During week 5 we used “Top Booster” and now we are using the “Top Shooter”. Its amazing how clean the reservoir gets after you stop week 1-3 additives. I have been maintaining a pH between 5.8 and 6.4. Week 5 EC was 1.5 for Week 6 we are sitting at an EC of 1.3. Everything looks really happy, smells like halitosis in the tent!

For new seeds I like to start out in a solo cup. It is important to provide drainage since solo cups are water tight. Using a lighter I burnt four small drainage slits in the bottom corners of each cup. View attachment 18793709

I apologize for my absence since week 6, I have been overwhelmed with orders to start vegetable seedlings for our community this year and it’s a beautiful thing!

I hope that everybody had a happy 420!!


Grow Update:

Everything has been moving along soo good! Like a child on xmas, I still get excited after week 6 when things start to bulk up and frost out. This run in particular has been amazing though and I know it’s going to be difficult narrowing down my selections. I continued feeding HnG Cocos w/ additives from week 6-8 at 1.3 to 1.5 total EC and 6.0-6.4 pH. The only differences I make to the feed chart is the extra dilution to get down to 1.5 EC and the Top Shooter. Go easy on the top shooter! I start at 2.5 mL per gallon on week 6 and then I add an additional 1ml (3.5 mL) for week 7 and an additional 1ml (4.5 mL) for week 8. Basically I slowly ramp it up.

The smells coming out of this tent are to die for if you’re into Chem Dog, OG or Cookies. that is exactly what this is, through and through, just a blend of those three amazing strains that I hold so dear to my

FLUSH: We will be flushing with straight tapwater for the next 10 days or so until these ladies are finished. For the record my tapwater comes from a well and it reads in at 0.1 EC at 7.1 pH. Stay tuned to come!
