True Canna Genetics - True Doh (Comeback Kush)

Alright guys, here we go! Just popped 45+ True Doh beans supplied directly from True Canna Genetics. The genetics here are:

This strain was originally released under the name “Tru Doh” but has since been renamed Comeback Kush in an effort to avoid association with Canadian Prime Minister “Trudeau”.

Seeds were popped into a glass of of well water (0.2EC/7.8PH) and left to sit 24 hours. DISCLAIMER It’s important when doing this to make sure that seeds and water are acclimated to room temperature. I never take seeds out of the refrigerator or freezer and put them directly in water. I always use water that’s 65-75 degrees.

For new seeds I like to start out in a solo cup. It is important to provide drainage since solo cups are water tight. Using a lighter I burnt four small drainage slits in the bottom corners of each cup.

My media of choice for starting seeds is Promix. This time we will be using Promix MP. I’ve also had great results using Promix HP.

Little update.

At this point I’ve had to water the seedlings. I’ve been using plain ol’ tap water from my well that comes in at 0.2 EC – 7.8 PH. For the sake of perfection I’ve been adjusting the pH of the water down to 6.2 using Alchemist ph down. Honestly, I normally don’t bother PHing my water until after week three above soil, but in this case I did.

Here they are not my best run as I had a faulty ph pen at the start of my run that had me scratching my head till I figured it out.
But there starting to purple now so I might redeem myself yet.

There day 49 I’m gonna take them to 60 / 64 they’re about. Great breeder everything I have ran of his has been solid. I have not even managed to get a boy yet and there regs must be pure luck there rest of my packs are probably boys.

Grow update.

I’ve been maintaining a 40-80% moisture content by adding water to the seedlings as needed. Still using plain tap water from my well that comes in at 0.2 EC – 7.8 PH. I’ve continued adjusting the pH of the water down between 6.0-6.3 using Alchemist ph down.

Oh I probably should’ve mentioned everything is under CMH lighting. I am growing these in a 4x8 tent fit w/ (2) Sun System 315’s over a 3x6 tray. The extra area on one side of the tray is where I setup my fan and filter.
