Eluvium - I always listen to them when on acid...very spacey, soothing, organic - amazing stuff.

Radiohead

The Grateful Dead - when in the right mood, great for summer days smoking Haze varieties.

Explosions in the Sky

Sigur Ros
- Icelandic geniuses...they are so humble, so pure, in complete harmony with nature.

stoner/doom is the trippiest it gets

ELECTRIC WIZARD
SLEEP
BLUE CHEER
OCEAN (hehe my personal fave :p)
SUNN

The last two are less stoner and more doom, trippy nonetheless.

Wow, nobody mentioned the Orb? Dr patterson rules.(check out auntie aubries excursions if you can find it or bicycles and tricycles or okie dokie its the orb)

Shpongle of course. Infected mushroom has some real trippy dance beats(converting vegetarians has some seriously good production value, best album by infected imo). Most Goa is pretty good.

Bassnectar has some trippy ass breakbeats.

Carbon based lifeforms, ambient trippy and relaxing, smoke a dub of kush and put their records on and relax. Air is another good choice, more relaxing then trippy but it has its moments.

Mr bungle
Autechre- A lot of aphex twin fans should check out Autechre.
Should also check out meatbeat manifesto-Jack Dangers is one brilliant electronic artist and his beats and samples are hard, trippy and laced with hyper crazed acid(check out actual sounds and voices, and his two latest albums(forgot the names).

Old thrill kill kult had an acid washed feel and sound(older industrial/rock feel, though the later stuff is kinda cheeze)

Legendary pink dots cannot be beat for strange twisted acid washed experimental tunes, best band that nobody knows about.
A lot of mike pattons stuff is pretty trippy too(especially Mr bungle, listen to Disco Volante for a super fun ride)
